It's a bit off topic and i got the urge to post it from the discussion between metal dude and fl0pski. I can understand ppl having industrial alts in order not to cut down on the skill training for their PvP main. I'm curious though in regards to the existence of "forum-only" characters. Let's say i was a fleet commander or just a PvP pilot in a well known (read: with lot's of enemies) alliance AND a political leader of that alliance or a corp director. Suppose now that i have itchy trigger forum fingers as well. I could create a character with the sole purpose of posting on the forums. That character would be a member of the same corp as my PvP main,but i wouldn't bother training him at all. I could just use him to post stuff on the forums, without the risk of ppl saying "Hey,it's the guy who annoyes me on the forums,screw the scorps,i'll make HIM primary". What's more, since this char will be a member of the same corp,nobody would be able to say i was just a trolling alt. So,this would be a main in theory (being in a player run corp) to speak my mind freely,but his only job would be as a spokeperson minimising risks for my REAL main PvP char. Sort of like an altmain Duh,i think i better go to sleep,it's 6am and i'm posting off topic drivel
