I'd like to thank all parties, to date, whom I have personally been involved with fighting in RA empie wars. It's been great fun fighting here and there playing cat and mouse, sometimes being the cat and sometimes being the mouse.
For the most part it has been smack free and very respectful on both sides. There was that one instance.....well, the guy was jammed and dual med. nos'sed on an AF...frustration won.
I'd like to give special recognition to Hehulk of BSI, who put up one hell of a fight, Ugluuk (spelling), for total cool conversation, and El Toppolino's gang in N-RAEL that made us ask "Where the hell did those two scorpion's come from?!"
Anyway, it's been fun and respectful so far and I just thought I might mention it.
There is more that I want to say but, it really doesn't fit in this thread.....actually, I'm going to say it anyway.

While I don't know every V pilot personally, I cannot picture V fleet command telling it's members to go drop cans of bookmarks. Even if they did, once High Command found out about it, I'm pretty sure we would see their expediate removal of V tags. I can more readily accept that one or two rogue pilots are doing this in secrecy if at all.
Of the V pilots I know and respect, there are none who would stoop to this.
Please, let's not carry on THAT discussion in this thread. I, for once, am in a decent mood and trying to actually show respect on the forums. |

I always wonder HOW can someone use bms to cause lag to just a certain playergroup? If I try to copy bms I get lagged so ******* hard its ridiculous ...

well, let's blame CCP for the lag. there is no point in setting up bigger battles at the moment if you are not forced to do so. because in the end there will be only one winner: lag.
i wish i could say he same about all the fighting and stuff, but empire war doesn't bother me at all since i am not really there and even my corpmates in empire report no bigger fights at all. the operation in detorid is successful up to now, we have visitors of RA all day but they seem more or less sitting in pos and safespots with some exceptions, as we do, too. there is not point in getting forced into a fleet fight with losses because of lag at the moment, as we simply accomplished our first goal with capturing the detorid refinery.
i am curious how RA will deal with the situation as it is now. if i were in their position i would most likely avoid attacking a heavy guarded pos. the last pos attack i was in suffered from a lag-timer of 4-5 minutes for the activation of a module. imagine you are being hit by large artillery and can not warp out/repair yourself/get gangmembers to remote repair yourself within minutes. it will simply lead to ship losses, and this is bad because the feature of attacking a fortified pos is "virtually removed" from the game at the moment due to this. personally i'm feeling a little bit sad about it, even if it is RA which would have to take such actions at the moment, but to us it is boring, too.
regarding our operations at the moment one has to stay that RA is in the system and awake, there is no point for us in joining there way of fighting (warping in with sniper fleet, always stabbed, always full aligned, rinse and repeat) as we are aware we can only loose. of course we could do the same, but we just cannot get the point. to me it seems that even RA will realize soon that they are wasting their time with these actions as they won't take them anywhere. if they decided to camp the system we would remove the camp, so they are not trying and their forces here are no harm to us and no harm to our supplies. if they are lucky with it, please go on for another week or two, three, ...
within this time we will earn money and do stuff more funny.
my conclusion to the situation as it is now is as follows: 5 did fall because they simply ahd too much territory, which they were able to defend by force, but unable to hold with the sovereignty issue introduced, because they were lacking industrial background. i think noone of 5 pilots will disagree here. they lost it because of this issue and no other. after that RA was happy in getting all these regions and holding them, because 5 did no longer show interest in this kind of warfare. now, rules have changed again. it is now harder to hold sovereignty if you are not present in the region all day, and it needs way more than haulers with pos stuff to conquer a station. i have hardly seen any RA pilots in detorid, except when our attack was launched. there were other RA friendly corporations but less likely RA pilots doing there business in immensea, tenerifis, detorid. now they have to decide - that's my point of view - if RA is willing to fight for regions they never really used by themselves. and if the answer to that is firmed within RA leadership, everyone will know where this comflicts will lead us to.

Yesterday in CJ the lag seemed a lot better ... at least for me ... Have you noticed any improvment with the latest patch ???

It was a lot better, even around the pos were we all were I hardly suffered any. An hour and a half before that though the lag around Scalding Pass was awful. I kept getting booted every 2 minutes till eventually I couldn't log on at all.

after patch lag has been acting strange. the lag is going up and down for me, in one minute i got no lag at all and in the very next my modules activates after 20 sec.

Yup the battle yesterday was ok, but every jump with a bigger force is a pain in the ass atm. Even if i had no problems with it yesterday some of us crashed and lagged like hell.
But its right, after the patch the lag became very strange. I never had frozen screens so much and as mentioned before, 5 minutes there is absolutly nothing and then bummm, screen freezing and jumps take ages.

I had fun few days ago in Luminaire chasing scout shuttle. I got him to armor thou 
.. and I lost uninsured Thorax in same system hour before this in my alt 
So chasing RA's is always fun .. but to disapoint all those people who hates me because I'm zealous anti-piwate, I don't smack on local

Yea. Lag is terrible. I hope CCP work on a better server now then a new patch for ships. I hope they will get it under control.
To fight RA is respectfully on both sides. Every side have a few dudes they dont understand how to respect a nice fight. normaly.
So i wish for both sides many kills and special much fun in pvp.

Btw ... the huge effort of yesterday in C-J6MT only means one thing for me ... -V- alsow wants Insmother region ... And at the same time that -V- started is offensive I see CHIMP make a huge effort in Detorid ...
