Imho some tech2 items taht are so tightly monopolized like hacs and tech 2 cap rechargers are unrealisitc and bad .
ITs ok for a time for such monopoly to reign but then is counterproductive in the game and unrealistic,
In rl if such monopoly existed others would also research the object of monopoly or try to spy it and sooner or later somebody would break it.( maybe not best idea but nuclear wepaons for example)
In eve we got no such possibilites , we get the bpos from gods of Eve and its only way to obtain it.
Imho after some time of such monopolies CCP really should seed some more bpos or bpcs at least.

So you tell me the hacs ( ishtar for example) are produced by more then 20 manufacturers?

By definition, if they are produced by more than 1 manufacturer it isn't a monopoly.
Ok but you uknow what i mean , 2 manufacturers can still agree easily on prices and its not really ocmpetition or free market.

rodj i know it and i dont use tech 2 caps rechargers anymore euctetic is good enough for me , i use them anyway only for npcing , cap injectors win in pvp.
But its not solution .Those poeple who controls the monoply make insane insane isk because of a sick unrealitic siituation.And again richer get richer.

I think its good idea if hard enough and takes long enough.Would still enable the lucky lottery winners to make large isk but would limit the monopoly after some time

There is no HAC monopoly. Monopoly implies *one* producer. The only T2 item that is anywhere near a monopoly is T2 Cap rechargers. For HAC's there is simply a lot of demand and low supply which forces prices up. If the BPO owners sold them at cost price many people would then sell them at near to current prices because of the demand. You do not need HAC's, BS are in fact better then HAC's in most ways, people just like HAC's because they are fancy toys.
What exactly is twaddle and rubbish in my post?I might have not used monopoly in its exact meaning but it was explained in following posts.
But overall maybe i begin to see the point of the other side.Maybe you are right tech2 ships should be for elite rare.

Tech II is mandatory in EVE.
Mandatory and encouraged by CCP's 'specialize' leitmotiv.
It is true a cap recharger II is not that better than the cheaper Eutectic recharger, but for the majority of tech II items, they are what makes the difference between a lost or won fight.
That, skillpoints and experience.
Customers don't really care about the solutions to solve the ridiculous prices problem of some TII items, it's not the job of players to come up with ideas (the 'auction' one being horrible), but seeing how long CCP took to solve the lab slots issue, I fear we aren't close to see the light on this matter.
I disagree now , i come to look at tech2 as luxury too.I got persuaded by the opposite point of view,
You cant kill a crow with condor but with 2 condors propably .Same For Raven with tech 2: not with 1 raven tech1 fitttings but with 2 or 2 backup cruisers.
What i say here it comes to be right : only the richest and most hardcore payers can have all latest stuff and replace it fast ( well i own too some fancy stuff just never fly in pvp , cant afford to replace)
Think of yourself as freelancers alliance in Star Wars expanded universe: you are poor and fly older ships , you cant afford the newest , your strenght is cunning and numbers.
