FIX the crappy HACS, AFs, and Intys, currently only half of them are being used by the majority...what a waste.

What's wrong with t2 prices? Last time I checked they were skyhigh, who wouldn't want that...

How would that solve the prices? They would just get boosted in price too...

Well, the prices reflect the overall galactical GDP per person. The more money we make the more expensive things will be. If everyone could make 500 mill an hour then 500 mill would barely buy you a cruiser...At the same time the SOTA things out there will become more and more expensive and complex to produce.
SOTA will always be expensive and reserved for the elite, hence its state of the art, not everyone should have access to it. If you have the urge to run around in a carrier right now you should be prepared to pay the immense cost and overhead because there frankly is an insane demand in comparison to the current supply. While every 20 mill SP noob char out there might feel like they should be entitled to the best equipment and ships out there the facts are that those SOTA items aren't meant to be the standard setup for everyone, they are rare, expensive and offer relatively little gain. With time things obviously balance out and everyone can fly eagles if they want to, because there is constantly better and more specialised stuff coming into the game, but alas the same rules apply then too, if it's new and shiny and the best there is then it won't be affordable by 99% of the galaxy.

Imot the only people who CAN fix the prices are the people makeing them.. and iwhy would they want to? There makeing billions of isk a week for doing basically nothing

Hmm, the only hac i dont see around in our fleets constantly is the sacriledge.
Munins and eagles are most certainly extremely usefull, just not as much for pve and solo combat I guess.
Does that mean they need a boost ? Most certainly not.

No. The only people who can fix the prices are the people BUYING them at the expensive prices..
If the people make them half the prices, all that happens is that other people buy them and then resell them at the prices that people will pay.
If you want the prices to come down, don't buy them at the expensive prices. If people are still "happy" buying them at the expensive prices (or at least happy enough to buy them rather than boycott them), then they're not too expensive.

I tried to start a thread several months ago on the Ship&Modules forums to discuss what is neccesary to bring ships like Raptor, Ares, Vengeance etc. on par with the other ships (without making them identical but wanted) so that the demand on at least small tech 2 ships to spread. People were very "interested" so I guess at least in concern to other tech 2 ships but HACs, prices are ok.
Now in regard to HACs, there is only one ship that could use some very small adjustments and that would be the Sacrilege. Seeing how the Eve players behave, my guess is that boosting the Sacrilege will not decrease the demand of Zealot but shift some more battleships pilots to Sacrilege and that would only lead to an increase in Sacrilege prices as well.
In the end it's about human nature, everybody wants only the next best thing and if they can't get it cheap they get frustrated => angry.
Not to mention that if you try to make a very "forced" comparision to other MMO's, Eve is played only by warrios, hunters and mages

The problem is that we've got the same number of T2 BPOs for these items as we had with half the subscribers and 1/4th the amount of people able to USE THEM.
Small unfixable supply + increasing demand + magical inability for others to reverse engineer something + lots of other issues = a handful of happy players using alts to make them effortless millions/billions.

The best way to fix the prices for the ship is when the pilots fly them no longer lose them.
that way, in time, the entire universe will get one.
and therefor the price will drop.
