OMG!!!!! READ! Trust me, reading is a big part of Eve. If you can't get that right...you will lose a lot of money in the game buying random junk and not knowing what they do. Read. If you need help, I believe Eve University still is accepting pilots. You may have noob reading skills, but they will help you get on your feet. I managed to secure a 2nd week of war for just 2 mill, before evotech ran to ISS, so, in the end, it didn't cost us 100 mill for that 2nd week (sorry Evotech...plan backfired). Anyway it was fun a fun war! :)
Hmm seeing as most of your corp happens to be hiding in a noob corp I would say the plan backfired on you guys. I hope you don't plan on having them return after the battle angels war is over as that is frowned upon by the Eve gods. If ISS really want to make a point they will keep having you declared upon until you disband.

The newbie PvP corp carries on the war, post some (bad)stats.
Then ISS hire BA to attack them.
The Newbie Corp quickly dissolves into NPC corps.
BA lambast said newbie corp for being cowards and chicken.
Newbie Corp Leader arranges 1v1 vs BA pilot.
BA pilot dishonours 1v1 and runs.
Random Alts call newbie CEO a noob even though he beat a BA pilot in a fair fight.
That about right?

Having known Battle Angels and many of it's membership for a long time they wouldn't intentially dishonour a 1v1.
Sometimes mistakes happen, warping out of a 1v1 is in my sense fair, if you don't fit a warp disruptor/scrambler then they have that opportunity to do that. You should take pride in the fact that you managed to beat a member of BAPWN in a 1v1, even if you didn't kill his ship its still a victory.
And to hylleX, unless in a private convo/local someone actually accepts the 1v1 by stating so they have not accepted it, if you give out your posistion then the hostiles will use that to their advantage.
BAPWN are a highly skilled outfit who do not need to use out of game mechanics to destroy their targets, nor would they do so.

That's the way I read it also.
Capt is having fun in the game, fair enough.
BA pilot didn't want to lose a ship, fair enough.

It's true. **** happens, he made a mistake as he didn't read the rules properly. I was on TS the whole time and he never mentioned any of these rules. This will not happen again.

In all the 1v1's I have participated in, the opponent usually fits a scrambler, in this case he did not as he knew that with it fitted he would probably have lost the fight.

Here is what happened:
I read Capt 69 post as far as I will take on a 1 v 1 but HAC and lower. I didnÆt read further to see no EW and no ôrunningö. It was my fault for not reading the post in its entirety. When we warped in the first time he warped in at 40 KM I used ECM and HE ran away not me. He said in gang NO F%$KING ECM read the post. I apologized and advised I would refit my ship, I did not re-read the post. I then warped to him and the fight commenced a second time. Capt 69 beat me, no other way to put it congrats Capt 69. I did warp away when my armour was low.
Capt 69 was a great opponent and there was no smack at all.
Should I ever decide to take a 1 v 1 again I will make sure all the rules are gone over prior to the engagement.
My failure in this fight should not be a reflection on The Battle Angels. They are a fantastic group of guys that do not deserve any ramification from my actions.
The Battle Angels use supreme intel and recon on our targets. We have never logged on to kill anyone. We donÆt need to. For those that feel that we use these types of tactics are generally the ones that get killed because they are not paying attention in local or they are over confident. Either way itÆs their problem.
Battle Angels Gather,
They Warp In,
Guns Engage,
Ships Die.
