meh start it before someone else does
dam...... lag
i sat waiting for ages as the battle began loading, then i see a hammerhead drone shooting me... then i load to be primary, and go down very quick... then i sit waiting to warp out pod, then crash once im out
dunno how its going, from what i can gather we have lost a few BS, but the lag is foul
i would say good fight, but i didnt get to fight so..... good lag?

Good that ppl post with main, but posts regarding every fight had are not needed. IMHO

yeah but in that case why bother logging in on sundays? why miss an oppourtunity for a fleet battle? it was fun. im not sure who lost more, but i know we held the field, time will tell. regardless, i know OSS guys got lagged, so kudos for not warping straight out

locked it just when i jumped in, and got the killmail when i was long gone on a safespot.
Well the best thing was that i didnt emergency warped. those who did was so screwed.

Both gangs were so heavily lagged out that i am actually surprised that ships blew up in the process.

never seen lag like this before, yes there was a lot on server, and yes there was 100 in system, but wow lag like that is somthing I have never even imagined, even in systems with twice the number of people - gf I guess, to all involved numbers lost on both side are a total unknown

'Insane to hold a fleet battle with so many people online',inference being we have to operate in limited numbers nowadays. It is a sad day in Eve when people can't band together and play the game, doing whatever they want, within the rules. Pilots on both sides lost thier hard earned equipment because the game mechanics were not able to cope with the demands at that time. Skills, experience and prowess did not fiqure, so no pride or gratification can be found. Most of all those involved were just left feeling dissapointed. What could have been huge fun for both fleets turned out to be a damp squib. Perhaps its time for CCP (ever quick to post about record numbers online)to ensure that the game environment is able to work correctly before they allow the numbers to increase to a point where lag even prevents chat channels from working. Respect to all those involved, friends and Foe's, we tried but for reasons outside of our control we were sadly let down.

That was probably me in the destroyer. I managed to target a whole bunch of ships, but my guns never managed to activate, and the overview wouldn't let me select anything to warp out to =(
In all honesty probably any ships that anyone on either side lost should be refunded as lag-bug losses.

I think i was the 1st person to decloak due to the lag warp out feature thingy.... I never loaded, and had to relog to actually get in the game again. I only heard on the voice comms from Cartiff "Sp0ck your dead mate". Was instamelted of course

Emergency warp-out 4tl.. I think it took me about 10 minutes to lock, activate my guns and kill a blackbird.

The point here is not that this encounter was of particular importance but a message to CCP that this lag issue needs sorting asap - the situation in 6-c was ridiculous tonight(obviously not an isolated incident) - and to say that trying something that should work within the game mechanics but generally doesn't is not a justifiable response either- bottom line is that a great game is being ruined by lag and it needs sorting before people start unsubscribing

Lag 4TL. We had a 10vs10 in empire with norad. 2 of our guys crashed on jumpin and 2 others suffered from bad lag. Norad had the same problems.

I still remember people whining about not loading untill the battle was over. Then I received my own piece of lag. Away from the gate, I was battling with the 10minute timer of 3au probes. Would I manage to launch all 3 probes and complete a scan within 10mins. I barely managed it...
Oh, and I noticed a brand new thing. The grid of the gate around reblier gate was dynamically resized down to LESS that 200km. I was sitting 200km off the gate and I couldn't see the hostile gang on the gate. I had to probe em to realize they were actually on the gate...
This is serious, 200km is the range of some ships with t2 sniping ammo...

Once again lag destroyed what could have been an amazing fight. CCP need shooting for not providing proper service for the money we pay.
I was in the system before the enemy fleet jumped in and before ours jumped into them and i warped to the gate to have about 3-5minutes of complete lag , nothing showed up even though it was obvious the fight was underway on comms, i was lucky to not get killed, i warped out and back in to find the same thing happen again which is complete BS. Not only that but my and many others mods wouldnt activate which is just gh3y.
LAG 4TL, though it was a fun fight when i got my sh1t working and we chased the remaining enemy fleet around.

I hopped on TS and was told fleet was forming for a fight. Go to log in and can't. Figure the fight is happening in the system where I was logging on, seemed to make sense I guess but no.. it was 3 systems away.
Good time to do laundry and like, bake some cookies or something. Unreal stuff.

CCP already knows that there is a big lag problem. Starting a thread every single day when someone lags won't get the problem solved faster. -------------------
