The Serpentis Corporation would like to announce single combat between Ryan Routine and Admiral Rembran. The location and time will be announced shortly before the fight.
Mr. Routine contacted the Serpentis Corporation about a duel with Mr. Sarpati. Due to his schedule, Mr. Sarpati nominated Admiral Rembran instead. Rembran is a decorated officer and a more than capable pilot who has volunteered to be Mr. Sarpati's champion. Ryan Routine will be flying a Machariel battleship and Admiral Rembran will be piloting his Vindicator, the Adder. Both pilots have agreed to refrain from electronic warfare. As such, this will be a straight fight between the two captains. The winner of the fight will retain salvage rights to the ships.
In order to maintain fairness in the fight, a Serpentis fleet will guard the area. Mr. Routine may also bring a security fleet.
Betting for the fight will not be taken by the Serpentis Corporation. However, interested third parties may take bets on the outcome.
Orders for Serpentis goods may be taken at the fight.
Look back here for more information about the fight as it is made public.

Much as I have a significant dislike of the cowardly [G] faction, I believe Ryan Routine will slaughter whatever Serpentis will through at him in this duel.
Good luck Ryan. Die Serpentis.

Only a fool would trust a snake.
Serpentis will just be using this as a chance to attempt an ambush of their opponent and his fleet. The idea of such a group having honor is a joke.

Should make an interesting spectacle, I hope I'm around at the right time to watch it. Good luck Admiral Rembran, from what I've heard you're going to need it.

"Orders for Serpentis goods may be taken at the fight."
This sounds interesting... does it involve products of Serpentis armament industry, or more to the effect of... chemical entertainment? :s

Much as i'd like to support our allies, I think the Admiral may be making a mistake here. Ryan Routines skills are almost legendary in a Tempest or Machariel

I am rather curious towards the outcome of this duel. Luckily I find myself in the position to get first-hand information on the date and location as I believe myself to be a trusted friend of Mr. Routine, he wont talk about it yet, though. Anyway, this will be confidential and handled with care on my side. What I would like to say is, given my schedule allows it, I feel honored being a member of Mr. Routines security force.
My Question to you, Mr. Junsest is, whether you or your champion have any objections towards me (or somebody else) capturing the duel and releasing a refined form of the captured material?
My believe is, that many people would love to see this event documented.

Edited by: Rod Blaine on 16/01/2006 20:36:47 Oh, I'd very much like to be in Mr. Routine's security force as well, if he is so inclined
However, more about those Serpentis products please. As much as I find the Serpentis Organisation inferior in many ways, their products often rank top for quality.
I very much doubt they would like to give us access to the little bit of technological advantage they might have left. _______________________________________________

Were I a betting man, I would put my money on Ryan winning, then the Serpentis forces throwing themselves upon the victor and his security force. If there's one thing Serpentis can be trusted with, it's untrustworthiness. ----------------------------------------

The Serpentis are no more a force in this Universe. Merely their numbers make them a name, they seem to attract scum and villiany to them like a stain on a cheap suit.
Although the [G] alliance spread their propoganda regularly on the GalNet information highways, which also sickens me to the very core of my being, i find myself wishing lady luck to be on Ryan Routine's side. This is the first, and most definatley last time i will ever say this.

I would greatly enjoy coming to observe this fight, however, given the seeming increase in pirates who camp at warpgates, it seems unlikely I'd beable to make it in one piece.

interesting, tho im more interested in how you can have three spaces in your name while i can only have two. i suspect there is something else behind this interstellar message, some kind of interstellar board conspiracy that i do not know of as of yet. tho i belive the existens of this rare three-space-name somehow is not in the interest of the concord according to "concord naming convention"!

I am puzzled as to why my brethren show such defference to the pawns of Saparti, they are scum. With NO RESPECT AT ALL I say that Ryan will be in a position to sell snake skin luggage from the frozen skin of this "Admiral" within a short space of time. ....

What is this 'killboard.net' you speak of? I assume it's what you call a person's combat record?
This Ryan person, while I've never met them to my knowledge, seems quite skilled, and I'd like to know whose taking bets so that I can make back some money I lost tonight when I lost my Harpy to a Gallente fleet employing some strange stasis weapon ((AKA: About 15-20 seconds of lag when I warped in on them in a mission)).
I wish luck to the BoB fleet that will most likely come and skin the Serpentis fleet alive after their admiral is killed and they attack the victor. Maybe this time Serpentis will use a Mothership, since it seems a Carrier couldn't quite cut it?
