I apologize if this is the wrong forum, but IĈm hoping to get this out to everyone who knew him.
Sometime Saturday January 16, 2006. The Player known as Volhama passed way in his sleep. He was a friend and a Co-Worker and will be missed.
To anyone who knew him please Eve-Mail me if you have any question or want more information.

The other day, I got an EVE mail from someone I have never spoken with telling me a friend and corp mate had passed suddenly in his sleep.
I haven't quite known what to say, or how to say it. I just know that it makes me sad, sad that someone I knew only through his words, and his kindness over a computer screen will no longer be striving for the things in life that made him happy. Someone who understood the things I was going through on a personal level and what it meant to be able to get away from it all just for a little bit, someone who just knew.
You will be missed, my friend, and Korsan for CORVUS Consortium Holdings. You will be missed, but you will be remembered.
See you on the other side,
Fell Shadarach

Wow...
I will miss talking to him on the Minmatar channel. He was one of the guys that helped make it one of the most popular Empire channel in EVE. My condolences to his family and friends, IRL and in the game.

Volhama was a valued member of our Minmatar society. He founded Jade Nash corp and soon joined with us at Corvus where he became a director. He was always good for a chat and despite ups and downs in his world he was never downbeat and was full of enthusiasm. I'd like to remember him by the last few occasions where we bailed each other out of sticky situations and if I may i'd like to recount one of them...... I logged on to find Vol stuck in a .3 system about 15 jumps from our homebase. Some guys had decided to camp him out and he never liked to lose his Jaguar or Wolf (i told him once he was trying to make the lupins an endangered species...he always laughed). He didn't have insta's to escape the camp so we hatched a plot to overcome it. I ran out there in a mwd fitted incursis......scraped past the gate campers and got to the station. We made a station insta and then he set off out in his newly acquired Minmatar Shuttle !! to distract the thorax and other ships that were stopping him leaving. He managed to outwit the campers as they chased him so far out that they never had a chance at targetting me to create the station to gate insta to get our escape. We met back at the station and i remember well just as we warped to the gate........His word in local 'Farewell Suckers'.... Vol was a dedicated and enthusiastic player and a true individual and was always keen to discuss real world politics and life but did so with intelligence and reason. Valued and unique......ToddA RIP friend you will be greatly missed by everyone. So say we all !

Vol was one of the few people i logged on purposely to talk to. I just got back from a silly injury and found out he had passed away this past weekend. He was good people for those of you who didn't know him. Steadfast and Devout are words that come to mind. I do wish i had one last shot at talking to him and wish everyone who knew him in game and outside peace of mind in this time.
