Yes. Speaking of which, the cruise missile skill is NOT working.
It used to give 5% bonus damage per level (what it says in its description) and this broke a while back.

TomB can we get a missile changes thread when you start changing those more extensively?
I've seen some people say that what we need are battleship sized launchers. That is the last thing we need. Missiles do not do more damage when fired from larger launchers. All the large launchers do is make you fire slower.
What we need are for missiles to travel MUCH faster and remove all the bugs. Also I think they need to be fired faster. Oh, and take up less space in the cargo hold and cost less.

I'd like to see battleships get ammo bays and missile bays.
Cruise missiles take up quite a lot of space.

Seriously though carrying enough large hybrid ammo and cruise missiles take a very significant portion ofyour cargo bay. :(
Laser users don't have to deal with any of that :D
Drone users get their own separate drone bay.

The amount of space Missiles take in the cargo hold will definitely need a large adjustment downards before they are considered viable.

With three medium slots you can run a shield booster and two shield hardeners.
You have the maximum possible damage loadout with 8 high and 8 low slots. You are the ultimate gun boat. Sure you may lose in a 1 on 1 combat to an EW boat.
But what if it's a huge fleet action? Given a few seconds of being unjammed in a chaotic fleet battle, the gunboat can reduce an EW boat to rubble in no time.

While we are on the subject (ok not really :P) ...
TomB, how about putting in the missing modifiers for cruisers?
By that I mean - all bships and frigates seem to have 2x bonuses affected by your appropriate command level - one that is the same for all of that races ships in that class, and another that is unique to that ship. I felt it added a lot :)
Cruisers are missing that :(
