Hi
Yea i would love to try FW and i checked out the LP store isk/LP ratio and mini was not the best.
Is it still possible to make isk while in a FW that is huge or is it better isk/LP ratio in Caldari/armarr ?
Edit* Ohh and how much standing with the faction is needed to join the npc corp - and doe

Hey, don't ask a question about FW then bash somebody who's actually participating in it. No, there is not much money to be made in Minny FW at the moment because the market is flooded with their goods. If you want isk, join Minny, farm, sit on your LP for a few months, then when the prices rise again, gradually release your goods onto the market. Also, don't bash Baron. He actively takes part in FW for what it really is, a pvp environment, the isk is a side-bonus. I wear my goggles at night.

Are you wanting to join FW for the isk or for a pvp environment that you can easily support yourself in?
If it's just for the isk then join whatever faction you want and farm and stab the hell out of your ships and pretty much **** off overy pvp'er in FW. If it is to actually pvp then I'd say pick the faction with the ships you like to fly. And use your lp to supply you with ships to pvp in. simple really.
oh yeah and bagging advice from actual FW'ers is not the best way to get more advice other than trolling. (Yes I've been in facwar for a fair bit, just not right now) That is the Way, the Tao.

LP conversion ratio often fluctuates so it's hard to give an absolute answer to your question. If you're flying around in Frigs/dessies/cruisers, then any of the factions will do just fine. High Five. Yeah! C'est La Eve . |

As long as you do your market research, there is always isk to be made. Liam is correct though, the hardest part about FW is your first term, between the tier being high and the tier being low. Because you are pewing/losing ships and making LP but there is no cash-in. so your flow is very 'outbound'. Once you get over that first hill and the tier drops and the market stabilizes, you can start to cash-in on your LP, if you are a competent market warrior you can drag your cash-in all the way until the tier risen again, maximizing LP/isk ratio and having a cash flow. The flow is very important for the state of mind of a PvPer if you keep spending on ships and never see you wallet blinky green it can make you think, whats the fuckin' point in this.
anyway, my $0.02 |

If you are over the age of about 16 you should probably take some time to think about your life. Just saying. Capital Shop temporarily closed. |

Can you post KB's here?
Anyway.... joined Eve in April this year. Joined FW as soon as the three week trial period was over. Try again Farmer Stab. Maybe you should do a simple Google search before spewing out insults because you look very stupid right now.
You didn't even ask about how to support a PvP main. Or support anything else. You posted about 'making money in FW.' |

Yes the majority do that as well. Duh!
And if you want respect post on your main rather than be a cocky little shite on a forum alt.
There is always targets to shoot. Just depends on your target preference. Mine is everyone and everything, including good friends and corpies That is the Way, the Tao.

Ahh. Isk farmer and alt-poster? You have come to the right place. FacWar is exactly what you are looking for! I'm probably typing on an iPad, which means the auto-correct is silly and fixing typos is a pain. I ain't fixing them. |

Sigh, to sum up, yes you can make ISK in FW. This activity is known as farming. The market reacts in a supply versus demand model. When a faction reaches a certain member mass and LP rate, the market bloats, prices drop. Generally this dissuades farmers and the pendulum swings back to the other side. Currently this mechanic is working for Gal/Cal Mil, but due to high PvP activity in Minmatarr combined with a VERY low number of Amarr has seen the pendulum favor the Minmitarr for a bit longer than per the norm. Thus driving down the prices of what is generally not a strong market to begin with, thanks to the lower demand of Minmi faction ships and modules.
Generally Calmil will have the most stable market due to the constant demand of Caldari Faction modules and ships in PvE. That tends to dilute the PvP pool with a bunch of obnoxious fops, which keeps the Gals in a target rich, ****** filled environment. I personally would favor you going to the Gallente..... |
