hello my space friends, i need advice! i have played eve online since 2009. i've had many breaks but i have come back and realized something. i really suck at making money in the game. what does someone do with no assets or isk? how did you space rich players figure out how to become so space rich?

More or less in order from most lucrative down. For a new player:
__ steal
__ trade
__ grind npcs
__ produce
__ explore
__ salvage
__ freight
__ mine
__ other: use your imagination
__ all of the above

Join a crop, make some friends. Its far easier when you have some help.

i have been in many corps, have many friends in eve. i like to pvp, before i quit i was in test alliance, i really enjoyed cloaky pvp.

i cant steal from someone lol so id skip that, maybe doing trade but id need to make isk for that so grind npc is probably what i'm going to have to do to start. id love to do exploration tho! and fright and produce i've always done the combat side of this game so it would be fun to do that stuff. i wish i could get payed to refuel pos's id love to do the annoying side of the game

If you want to get filthy rich then trading is your target.
Aaaaaaaaand having said that , before you get filthy rich expect to be grinding 100's of orders on a daily base.I'd think for most people trade will be one of the most boring things one can do in eve and it probably is the only reason why those who stick to it get such a good return.
