STK Scientific - Powering the Universe
STK Scientific is mainly an Industrial corporation based out of the Feyth region to the South of the map. WeÆre part of an alliance called, æThe Ascendant Frontier,Æ which advances in leaps and bounds everyday.
STK offers its members the opportunity to become a part of something big. We regularly take on large tasks; perhaps our largest endeavour so far was building and placing our own Outpost. We can give any player a challenge, whether theyÆre a PVPer or an Industrialist, STK can offer what you want. The members of the Corporation are from many different countries, a few of which are;
United Kingdom
Belgium
Canada
United States of America
Argentina
Australia
Korea
As you may guess, with such a diverse number of countries, STK is guaranteed to have someone friendly on 23 hours a day. Our members all help one another ingame, be it Mining, Producing, Refining, Ratting or PVPing.
Due to us being based in 0.0 we have every chance to dive in and do regular PVP battles should you decide to. We do not enforce anyone to do what he or she does not wish; however we do ask that youÆre willing to defend your Alliance.
Do not be put off by the fact that weÆre an Industrial corp, as a number of our members are PVPers who do not have any Industry links at all.
Being part of an alliance such as The Ascendant Frontier (ASCN) brings us so many different opportunities. ASCN currently has five outpost stations deployed with plans to deploy many more in the future; we have regular alliance wide operations that benefit the alliance in terms of safety of our home and members. Within the alliance we own a great many T1 and T2 BPOÆs with STK owning a large majority of these. We produce our products and sell on our regional market with the intent of creating a true player Empire.
Unlike many other corporations, STK does not give anyone a set job. Some people do take on certain roles, however we will not say to you, æYou mine Scordite while I shoot things.Æ We give you the choice to do as you choose.
A little history about STK.
We have been around since early beta and have been part of many great alliances. We helped to form the Curse Alliance, were a founding member of the ill-fated Xetic Federation and we are currently a senior member in The Ascendant Frontier.

I'm afraid to say that we've had to set a new skillpoint limit. Right now we only want to recruit people with at least 10 million SP and they have to be within a month of using T2 Large guns, carriers or dreads.
The main reason for this is because we have had many people come to the corp before with low skill points, they struggle to survive out here and then leave after dying to hostile, to rats or they generally cannot do anything without help from others.
0.0 is a teamwork situation, but there are many times you will be solo and unable to cope alone at a low level of skillpoints.

Yes, you must own a capital before joining. STK does not wish to give members capital ships only to have them leave after receiving it.

I'm not ingame lately, don't really know when I'll be back as I'm moving where I live in real life.
Cassiuss will have to deal with any recruitment, but due to ASCN's inevitable fate both my first post and the way in which we recruit needs to be looked at.
