Okay I just found on amazon PLEXES being sold at 3 for $37.49 and 6 for $75.99 by CCP Games, here in the UK the price of 6 is -ú84.99 for 6 as a sale price, This seems legit basically U.S. residents pay half the amount we do (-ú46 converted) yet our currency has more value..
This is seriously messed up surely something can be done about this, there are consumer laws and stuff that stop this sort of unfair trading, It is also terrible customer service one customer gets it for this much while I sell it to these customers for half that..
something really needs to be done ECC or TSA or something needs to investigate this, completely unfair trading ..

There is actually nothing criminal about selling products for different prices in different countries, almost every international company does it.
Your best bet is to find a US-based partner willing to buy and sell them to you at cost.
EDIT: Actually, the ToS probably forbids that. Now that I think about it. |

I seem to remember a discussion about Value added taxes the last time the subject came up.
All of the separate nuances I lay out below, lead me to believe (and perhaps should (take an edge of your indignity) that Great Britain charging it's residents a VAT fee related to the CCP servers being based in London really isn't anything too unusual.
I have a very vague understanding of the specifics of the VAT. I don't know if iceland is a member of a joint european VAT pact . I don't know if each country has their own VAT.
I do know that while traveling in france, if I purchased expensive items, it was worth the time to get the paperwork from the retailer and apply for a refund from some place at the airport.
The VAT is different from a sales tax, added at each level where value was added, I believe.
In the US, many states have a sales tax applied with most purchases . There are requirements that a company have a point of presence in California to be required to withhold the taxes but even if the company doesn't without, officiall california tax payers are supposed to report the purchases they made from other states for use in california and pay taxes voluntarily on them. The state of calfiornia actively requires that citizens of the state pay sales taxes on automobiles the purchased in other states as part of the process of registering t hem in California.
Each US state is a bit different, as I mentioned. Calfiornia typically did not tax services, nor did they tax food . The monthly subscription could be regarded as a service. California could have changed that somewhat in their budget cutting.
When we get see a price of say 100 dollars for a monitor, we'll need to pay 107$ for that monitor. (or a bit more in some cities) Sales taxes are charged on top of the price, not worked into the price advertised. |

I would agree. Subjecting yourselves to a VAT is messed up and utterly disgusting. You can do something, however; lobby your respective governments to get rid of the VAT and utilize a less visible form of obscene taxation. Seriously, different countries have food, entertainment, movie tickets, game consoles, everything priced differently for a variety of different reasons from taxes to consumer spending habits to competition.
Just because the Euro is only rising against the dollar recently doesn't mean this is a new phenomenon, this is how it's been since currency has been invented. |

I'm guessing OP wants CCP to endure the intrusive full-body groin groping of it's staff before they can go to work every day.

CCP may do whatever they want with prices (including different prices for different regions depending on greediness of local governments) - but you don't have to buy from CCP directly, find an authorized reseller with flat USD price. |

Compared to Europe the USA is a third world country. Hell, it's easier to buy a gun in the US then anywhere else in the world, that should tell you how civilized they are. |

some people, what you think there is not a governing body to trades in europe no ? no consumer protection against traders ? some people just dont think, CCP are selling a product therefore they are governed by laws simple..
I'm not even going to respond to the comment above that.. |
