I tried to send a trial key to a buddy and he hasnt received it.. even tried to one of my e-mail addresses to check and I dont receive anything.
Any problems with the service?

wasnt working for me last time i tried.. but to be honest im not bothered..
its time to kill the buddy system.. with 22k people online at the same time..

Only a max of 3000 of those 22k people are trial players.
A month or so ago, only a max of 3000 of the 18000 people were trial players. Which would mean something like a 4000 increase in subscribed players, and it's quite likely a good chunk of those (including me) were former beneficiaries of the trial system.
Don't knock a good thing.

I really dont understand this trend of telling to shut down the buddy program.. That's what brings so many new people,money, hardware, etc. to EVE.
I have 2 collegues at work already playing EVE thanks to the trial, another said he is not going to play now cause the game is too good and he will start when he leaves his actual MMOG but he loved the game the moment he steped in it, and this next one is a fricking manufacturing trading freak that will surely get involved in eve when he sees what it can do.. But the trial is essential..
Some people who start with MMOGS think that paying 14 euros for a month every month is a rip-off. A Trial is the best way to let them see why you need to pay 14 euros, and what they miss if they dont.
I repeat.. The trial key thingie is not working, tried with his e-mail in 2 different e-mail accounts, tried with mine... I checked junk,etc.. and not working.
Can you please CCP fix this? :)

It's working, just not consistantly. I've sent out about two dozen buddy keys, and about six of them never arrived. |
