I've always been bugged by the fact that InterBus is an ostensibly neutral courier service that doesn't actually do anything for players in the game. What if the InterBus became a mode of transportation whereby characters in pods, for a price, could move point to point, regardless of sec status, anywhere in New Eden? I envision a service where I board an InterBus liner in Jita and travel to say, Serpentis Prime, without being subject to faction police or gate camps. The liner would warp gate to gate, zero to zero, without the usual slow down associated with autopiloting. This has the added bonus of opening up null sec (to the extent that a character has a ship in the destination system).
I envision this service as a functional combination of jump clones and auto piloting, without the downside of either (the 24 hour wait and need to get a clone into position for jump clones and the ganking possibilities associated with auto piloting). One of the big downsides for me of a 40 jump trip is the amount of time you have to sit at your keyboard doing very little. This would allow pilots to automate a mundane task.

No Easy Button for you.
Manually fly it out there like everyone else. "War is not measured in terms of who wins or loses, who is right or wrong.-á It is measured in terms of who survives." |

So how does that make for a better game play experience? |

It forces you to risk interaction with other players. Unsub or don't.-á I don't care what your reasons are, and neither does anyone else.-á Just click the button and go away - or don't. |

Personal transport service -- no. Definitely no. There are enough ways to get from any point A to any point B in EvE.
Shipping service? Maybe, but they may (should) ask exorbitant prices for their service (so that players may use it as a last resort) and maybe you can see (and shoot down) InterBus convoys and people would lose their shipment which just happened to be on the transport...
Any maybe raiding InterBus convoys could be a method to get into the pirate faction's good graces? |

No shipping service either. Just use black frog. Players are already doing it, NPCs aren't needed. |

Jump Frog already provides a free clone travel service if you'd like to try it out. Here's our FAQ on our website. If you combine Jump Frog with Black Frog, you can travel to nosec/losec with the click of a button and have all your goodies delivered.

Not everyone is jumping every gate or flying manually. It's way too time consuming. And there are certainly times when "being forced" to interact with other players is something to be avoided. Jump Frog provides free jump clones and Pod Express travel.
