EVE on Facebook with real names? Imagine all those fake Facebook accounts to have alts in EVE and not having to post with your real Facebook (your main).

Or people wouldn't get a job because the recruiter also plays EVE and doesn't like the alliance the applicant is in. Or he got recruitment scammed by him ingame.

There is nothing sarcastic, I own facebook stock I bought it straight out from the IPO and have never regretted it a moment, there is no future that doesn't include Facebook.

The future of all technology and especially the internet is converging upon Facebook.

From law enforcement to online voting, Facebook will be the portal for everything we do in our digital lives, I think it is time that EVE jump on the express train to Facebook before it is too late. In the very near future we will be seeing the brandings Mac and PC replaced with the reverent blue tones of the Facebook logo.

There is a huge potential niche where the "carbon powered" logo could be replaced by the "Facebook powered" logo and full integrate all matters of EVE within it's hallowed shell.

Every ISK earned should be automatically published to Facebook, so my grandparents can see that I am not wasting my life, but uniting with a worldwide pandemic of saints and lost souls across the digital etherium.

The way it sits now EVE is less than 1% integrated into Facebook, by years end I suspect it will not break the 1% goal unless we join together and let CCP know that WE ARE FACEBOOK, you, me, your family, and all good people of the world are citizens of Facebook.

The upcoming Rubicon expansion talks about Twitch.tv integration into the client. Facebook is affiliated with Twitch.tv. You can merge your accounts log in to your twitch account using your Facebook account. Guess what kids, that means Facebook is likely going to be collecting information about you directly from the EVE client. Even if you don't have an account websites with the facebook widget collect user information for Facebook to use. I wish they would re-consider client integration.

You know why I don't use Facebook? Well, aside the fact that I don't have friends, it's the smell, if there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste its stink and every time I do, I fear that I've somehow been infected by it.

No seriously! I come from the generation where technology does things for you, not the other way around, as is the case for many of the technologies present. I don't want to belong to a service that I can't explicitly control. Facebook is offensive, invasive and a malignant piece of technology. NO, I don't want Facebook broadcasting to my "friends" what I just ate by analyzing my ***** before I've had the chance to **** it out or afterwards. NO, I don't want to be asked every day if I know people. NO, I don't want to use something that is a precarious balance between having private conversations and broadcasting everything I say to the world. I cherish my privacy. Facebook does not and has stated that privacy is outmoded. BS!!!

If I share a detail about my life then know, I've chosen to do so, not due to a change in TOS or EULA or an OOPSIE!

If I had to give up my privacy to play Eve Online to the extent that I would being a member of Facebook, I absolutely would not play Eve online.

OK, everyone who replied with something along the lines of "Facebook, hell no!" or "This is a terrible idea", please train "satire comprehension" to 1 immediately. It's understandable you've neglected it as it's not one of the skill books you get for free in the tutorial and won't help you in PvP, but it only takes a few minutes to train to level 1, so please get on it. For more challenging texts like "A Modest Proposal", you will need to train to higher levels, but to understand the OP's post really requires only the most rudimentary understanding of satire and reading comprehension (which you should already have trained to at least III)
