As a bit of an amateur coder myself, please tell me how this isn't totally impossible. You do realize you can't just wave your magic wand, say "computer code!" and whatever you want happens, right?

Oh, and if this is going to be so extensive and provide support to, as you put it, in realtime as a pseudo intel channel, how are you going to host it?

I mean, DotLan updates in real time and it has to rely on donations to stay afloat, but it doesn't need near the processing power that your idea will. That'd be about $5k worth of server hosting a month just on it's own, nevermind where are you going to get the hardware and at what cost.

Oh, yeah. That is, unless you intend for the third party software to piggyback off the host process (in which case it violates the EULA) or to draw bandwidth from the user's computer (in which case, it could easily be flat out illegal malware).

So please, more details.

Goons ruin everything

remember BOB? Small issue right? Took one persons actions to ruin them.

One person, with director rights, who happened to join goons. The whole thing was shear luck.

and since i doubt any goons will be joining your hi-sec scrub corp your only option is this:

join GSF executor corp.
Avoid being a complete noob for likely several years to even have the option of gaining directorship.
Destroy gsf and cfc (Only 1 group of null players)
Hope gsf don't reform.

So if you fancy spending years in null sec for even a shot at it you'd better somehow join goons and learn about those mysterious 'voice comms' people are on about.

Oh and by that time you would probably see how scrubby high seccers are and just give up your plan.

How am I going to make it secure against attacks of goons etc? API key, that is one method, other methods I won't discuss as to not compromise it...

And then I'm going to tell you that unless you use the kind of IP tracer that is highly, internationally illegal (for everything but government use anyway) on everyone who tries to log into your system, all day everyday (and even then, hello library public computer use!) then it is flatly impossible.
