The 200 rail thorax puts out good dps and fits a decent tank, but I havent used it for anything other thank plinking yet. (its possible to fit 250s without too much trouble, fyi). I did use a 200mm ENI last night and it did pretty well - when I wasnt kiting out of range - because I failed kiting class. We will see how they do. As an aside, the 250mm Brutix puts out between 550-700ish deeps, depending on ammo/drones. So ... yeah. I'm probably typing on an iPad, which means the auto-correct is silly and fixing typos is a pain. I ain't fixing them.

I'm still experimenting with fits, so I don't have a definite one to post, but I'll mess around a bit more and possibly update this. I wear my goggles at night. Any spelling/grammatical errors come complimentary with my typing on a phone

I'm glad you mentioned that. The tracking is rather low, and if you orbit in the 'Rax or Deimos your applied damage will go to ****. You have to keep at range. Also, despite the lower range and paper DPS I find I prefer the 200's due to the higher tracking and the range is just fine with them, at least so long as you're the one pointing your target. So you'll probably have to 'keep at range' in order to have any applied damage.

I don't see why I wouldn't use a shield buffer on a rail fit. I sure as hell won't be trying to kite with a 1600mm plate on. As for the deimos, I am spec'd for it but I have a hard time justifying paying so much for something that I am sure to Leroy. Since we are on the subject of sheild tanks though....ASB? Perhaps a dual LASB rail moa? There. Now we are fully derailed (pun intended) Its Ok. It's my thread.
