Prescision cruise and torps are uber as heck. Brokenly so.
So yea, defenders need fixing BADLY. (Or fix T2 amo, your choice)

Therefore it should be implemented, with all considerations towards balance in the game. There are special shields that are extra good vs lasers (for example), why not something extra towards missiles/torpedoes??

AMS = turret, turret = optimal range and tracking fit AMS = less lasers/hybrids/projectiles missile boat gets within AMS turrets optimal = one very dead ship cos turret cant track missiles
the missile users will adapt to an AMS and get so close only defenders will have a decent chance of hitting incoming missiles, when this happens the unlucky pilot who dropped a high damage gun to deal with missiles is screwed over by a missile spewing ship hitting at full damage potential, result AMS left in the hanger

What shields versus lasers ?
You mean damage types lasers can cause, Oh wait you mean like the single damage type that missiles do.
Gee life must be hard without a IWIN button.

I am Gallente and fly both the Megathron and Raven. I dont think missiles are overpoweredin respect of guns... the thing about missiles is that they are quicker to train and train well compared to anyother weapon... that is no reason for nerfing them more. AMS is not an unreasonable request as I believe it to be a realistic addition to a fleet and so should be considered. But when Caldari talk about ECW they seem to forget that the only ECW ship really is a scorp... no good to other races..... the new ECW platforms from RMR require a shedload of training.... true you can be in a Scorp in a week but thats a week less of guns training etc etc
AMS has merit....

mmm maybe it should change the damgage based on range?
i mean FOR EXAMPLE: a cruise missile at the top of his speed should do more damage; while flying it's 'fuel' end so his speed deacrease a bit (doing less damage) instead of doing same damage at 2km and 50km and so on
same for torpedo: they should be very slow on start, doing very less damage, and inflict full damage at med/long range at full speed
else it is like having a close and long range ship ever (the way it is now)
