Quote: 1. Do you have a normal social life at all?
Of coarse, I chat with people on IRC all the time, and get the occasional phone call from telemarketers.
Quote: 2. Is EVE as important to you as real life?
Well me playing it IS life, I mean I'm really playing it, that's reality. Maybe I'd tune into this "real life" if people managed to get off their primitive behinds and invent starships and warp drives.
Quote: 3. Is it worth taking a computer game so seriously when all you get out of it is enjoyment? (at the expense of other ways of having fun)
What's more fun? You're getting snippy with these questions, don't make me get my apoc and lay down some 3x 20km web scram pulse laser ownage on you. I suppose you'd suggest that I do something like casual human interaction activities, like talking to humans of the female gender and attempting to schedule a time where we could meet and explore which of our attributes might be in common. Look, people don't come with descriptions so maybe I'm a cruiser and she's a frigate.. geeze, it's difficult enough without getting into bonus' and tanking style.
Quote: 4. Do you have problems with your husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend because of how long you play?
Step 1: Dump husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend Problem solved.
Quote: 5. Do you have the same amount of friends that you used to?
Yes I have the same exact amount of friends that I used to, zero.
Quote: 6. Have you put on a lot of weight since playing and drink more acohol?
No, I consider myself to be a very healthy person. The multiple bags of chips and cheese doodles I consume each day is balanced out by the 48+ hour sleep and starvation binges I go on when I'm really into the game and can't bother getting out of my seat.
Quote: 7. Do you feel addicted to EVE and couldn't let go?
That's like asking someone if they are addicted to walking so why don't they sit down for the rest of their life. Why should I stop playing, why does indulging in something so great automatically = an addiction. Sorry, but I'm a believer in everything in moderation and my 16+ hours of EVE a day is not destructive like additive activites.
Quote: 8. Would you like to let it all go but know you can't
NO NO NO. Why would I let it go? I have a backup copy installed on a second computer just in case some wierdo like you or the mailman sneaks into my home and plants a virus on my computer. I CAN let it go, any time I want to, but I dont need to prove it to anyone. I guess I could cut back a bit, like stop hauler-mining veldspar when I'm the toilet once a week, but that seems kind of pointless.
Quote: 9. Is EVE the first thing you do when you come home?
Come home?? I never leave home. I'd never log off either but this thing called downtime brutally rips me from the EVE universe for an hour each day, but that's ok because I spend that time posting on the forums and figuring out new ways to fit my ships.
Quote: 10. Do you set an alarm clock to change your skills?
Why?? I can just click the skill tab and it tells me how close it is to being done. If I'm asleep and have no caffeine pills left then Ill probably wake up in time anyways because I usually dream about eve every night.
