My eyes bleed.
I think he needs a second makeover. Along with the rest of The Scope.

Poor baby.
Could be worse. He could have some crazy hairstyle where his hair was dyed some ridiculous shade of red and left standing straight up.
...
Oh. Hah!

Oh. Hah! It's alright Nuvolari, as long as you don't have the fruitsuit to match.
Actually it's not even dyed. The hair follicles actually have a gene spliced into them so that the hair grows with a red pigment. It's a fairly long story that involves the night before SWA graduation, an unhealthy amount of alcohol, and a silver-haired Civire girl working on her bioengineering degree at the SAK... ...unfortunately, I don't actually know most of the story.
Oh, and I'm not sure what a fruitsuit is...however, as long as it's not a dark-grey pinstriped suit or a black BDU, it's mostly safe to assume I don't have one. -------------------------------------[04:04:04] Tom Thumb > for a nut case you rawk

Lies!
Fellow Caldari, please believe I had no choice in this farce of a "makeover."
I was recently detained by Gallente authorities on some trumped up charges of smuggling. It was, of course, nothing but fiction. They offered me a deal to secure my release. Participate in a Scope article aimed at casting a bad light on the Caldari people and I would be freed. Of course, I refused, so they drugged me and did it anyway. Anything for a story, eh?
Anyway, as I sat rotting in my cell, some true loyal Caldari sprung me from my imprisonment so that I could set the story straight. I am proud of my heritage, and the truth behind this shoddy attempt by The Scope to belittle my people deserves to see the light of day.
I have already had surgeons return me to my proper Caldari appearance and I hope to put this nightmare behind me. Do not believe Gallente lies. I am proud of my heritage and would never stand for this kind of degrading exposure.
Thank you for your time.

Charged for smuggling? In the Federation?! That's ridiculous, with all the kinds of things legal there.
I'm glad all of this nonsense came to be untrue, Citizen Maffias, as your.. appearance, in that photo instilled fear in many Caldari citizens and military veterans alike.
Waking up to be wearing one of those pink fruitsuits, having Verone hair, and some ridiculous nano-tattoo on your forehead must've been a very distressing experience.

Yes, you'd think they'dve come up with something better than that.

Yes, it was the appearance of the photo that sparked the investigation that lead to my rescue. I must do my utmost to make sure these lies are spread no further.

Bruno! Get back in your box! *Brandishes pink nail polish*
I dont know who you are or who is paying you to impersonate my client but you are clearly not Mr Bruno Maffias...
The real Mr Maffias is currently enjoying his new found celebrity status within the Gallente Federation under my representation. He has been enjoying all the delights that our Gallentian culture has to offer, from our wonderfull women to our beutyful food and spiced wine. And yes he has done all of the above whilst in his pink "Fruitsuit"!
From Mr Maffias's own mouth
Quote: To all my friends and family back in the state: Dont worry about me, Aleria has taken very good care of me. They are realy nice over here in Essence, I think maybe all Caldari's should take a small holiday to the Federation and see what it has to offer.Wishing you were here and see you soon, Bruno
As you can see, Mr Bruno Maffias is in exelent health

Edited by: Bruno Maffias on 28/01/2006 17:51:52 Ah, well if this "real" Mr Maffias exists, why don't you have him come forward and present the account himself rather than in "quotes" you could easily have made up. As I'm sure everyone is aware, Empire pilot registration prevents pod pilots from registering with the same names in order to avert communications difficulties, so I doubt I could successfully impersonate him if he were the real me...
To The Scope I say anyone can make up a story, where is your proof?

We all know that all the Caldari need is a chin-shrinking surgery. Somethign needs to be done to their ships tho. They say it's function over looks but what function do thsoe wings sticking from random places actually have? Atlest they could give them a paintjob.
