Byloth	Posted - 2006.01.25 09:48:00 - [1] 1. Do you automatically get all content published for the game, or do you have to pay for expansion packs? 2. Are there events in the game? E.g. was there something special for Christmas? I personally don't like real-world events in my MMO. 3. Were there any special preorder codes and such that gave special in-game items in the game? Another thing I don't really like. I believe all items in the game should be available to everybody at any point of time to get them (well, to at least have the possibility of getting them). How is it with EVE? 4. Can I still get the first issue of EON Magazine somewhere? I checked on eBay, but not luck :-( Thanks for helping out! Byloth
Jacyro	Posted - 2006.01.25 09:55:00 - [2] 1 - All content updates and patches ar free. The client will auto-download them. 2 - There was not a big event for teh Christmas holiday. We did get 100 Snowballs and a Snowball launcher to play with though. 3 & 4 - I don't have an answer for these. ----------------------------------------------- "Eve is a sandbox. We did receive a Snowball Launcher and 100 Snowballs to play with for Christmas. Most events aren't tied to holidays though, which is a good thing. I checked on eBay, but not luck :-( Byloth 1) Yes, all expansions are part of your sub. 2) There are events, but they are not linked to "real world" stuff (ok, there were those snowballs, but never heard of any other examples) 3) no pre-order codes were done. 4) Issue one of E-ON is sold out. -----
Hoshi	Posted - 2006.01.25 12:55:00 - [17] An example of a very cool event that took place just before new year was the Caldari Championship which was a 3v3 pvp team tournament that all Alliances in the game was invited to. You can find videos from this event in the video section of the forum.
