Do they appear as "unknown signature" when you open up the probe scanner (without actually scanning with probes) in the UI?
Or are they 100% hidden and only discoverable by probes? |

Yes, when you enter a system, there will possibly be anomalies which you immediately see and can warp to and signatures.. the red blips, using probes you can scan them down, find out what it is, and then warp to them once you get to 100%.
All Relic/Data/Ded sites are signatures, as well as wormholes.

There are some you can not warp to instantly. Are those the ones that are Relic, Data, Ded's? I mean, if there were a hidden DED complex in a system, would immediatly appear in the scanner with 0% lock, unlike the Sanctums n **** which are 100%? |

Green square = anomaly = no need to scan, can just warp.
Red square = signature = you need to scan it down.
Signatures are relics, data sites, gas clouds, complexes, wormholes and hidden belts. |

Small correction there.. 'hidden belts' are nowadays anomalies you can immediately warp to like ratting sites ( Sanctums, Havens, rally points, etc )
They used to be really 'hidden' but no more.

They made hidden asteroid belts into anomalies so you can just warp to them without scanning them down. Kinda ticked me off a bit because you don't have to work to get them now, like you had to sometimes in the past. The good ones were difficult to find, and if you found them, you were rewarded. Now anyone can find them by just looking at their scanner, right click, warping to. Took the fun out of finding them when they changed them all to anomalies.
