Can people help me out with understanding where the higher end implants drop.
Pirates?
I have seen mostly Slave and Talisman down south (Domain), Halos seem concemtrated in minmater territories and Crystals are in Forge & Lonetrek(?). But whee do the snakes drop? Essence? And are the high-grade versions only in 0.0?
+4s, +5s
All over? are the +5's exclusively 0.0?
Enhancers
Are the big hardwires only in 0.0 (such as the ZET5000 range, cx-2's etc)

If snake is the +speed one i got a low grade one from a lv3 serp spies mission near Jel.

As I understand, +1s, 2s, 3s, and 4s are all yielded as random mission drops (storylines) - rewards, or as LP rewards.(I know for a fact that +4s also result from COSMOS missions, at least one of them)
+5 implants are exclusively LP offers.
The "hardwirings" are given either via entity drops in missions or are rewards for various specific missions. I have never seen a hardwiring drop from "the wild".
PIRATE implants (excepting omegas, which are LP only I believe) are random natural world drops or pirate NPC drops OR OR OR LP offers. Rate of natural drops is tiny - fractions of a percent.
That's all I know!

You can get them from faction officers/commanders (ie. Shadow Serpentis)

Thanks for the info. I would note that (to pick one particular region I know a bit about) Sinq Laison has snake implants almost exclusively, and in quite high volume. So is this because there are a lot of shadow serpentis officers there (in comparison to other rat types)? |

It seems logical that certain pirate factions are pre-disposed to drop their respective implants.
(IE You would not see slave implants off guristas)

I picked up a low-grade Snake Epsilon from a Shadow Serpentis in Adacyne (.5 sys). First one that has dropped for me. 
To sell or not to sell...that be the question. Any buyers...?
