lo,
I have one and its working.
setup is : small POS in system with npc station.
BPO u want to reasrch have to be in that station and in corp hanger :(

Do the bpo have to be in a station in the same system , or is the rage greater? and is it the same with assenbly arrays?

Yes mobile labs are working, i have 2 at my POS now and they are great!
Yes the BPO's have to be in a station in the same system.
The one problem i had to start with is they wouldnt work untill i trained the Scientific Networking skill. This is because without it you are restricted to the station you are in and your mobile lab is in the system. Level 1 will fi the problem. Level 3 lets me manage my labs from my high sec base a few jumps away :)
Cant shed any light on the construction arrays, i dont need them yet. I would guess they would need the BPO's to be in the same system in the same way as the lab does. I think the remote management skill for building is Supply Chain Management.

I think they are a little faster, need to look and check.
You get 3 ME slot, 3 PE slots and 1 Copy slot. Not loads, but thats why i got 2. It beats waiting weeks for public labs if your running a POS anyway. Once our corp research is done im going to make them public.

so is it just 1 bpo you can research at 1 mobile research ? if thats is true..aint a little expensive..100mil for 1 research slot ?

3 material research, 3 productivity research, and 1 copy slot per mobile lab, with a .9 time multiplier I believe.
