Wow... hell of a sales pitch ya got there. 
What are the odds that n00b pilot has any chance to join this prestigious organization?
I'm a fighter pilot with interest in upholding the law and popping pirates... whether if its cruising Belts, guarding my miner buddies or patroling the systems keeping them safe for law-abiding citizens.
I've been on for less than a month and I am still in my proud little Merlin. Should I ask back in a month or two, perhaps?

Ah, I remember my Merlin fondly...my first combat ship and the first ship I PvPd in  Chances of getting in EDF are zero. You'd be best registering interest for the Academy

If for any reason you cannot get to our forums, your post is missed, you are expecting a reply and not recieveing one, or any other issue, please try one of the following:
1) Join channel "Bar - EDF" and ask if any EDF recruiters (or other EDF members, as this isn't just a recruitment channel, some just go there for chat) are able to help guide you in the right direction.
2) Post/reply/bump your thread on the EDF forums in recruitment section. Forums
3) Eve-mail me (do NOT convo me please, unless I ask you to, it will be rejected). If I am online when you eve-mail me, I'll make sure to check "Bar - EDF" channel or reply to eve-mail with offer to covno me if I'm not busy.

I'm very intersted in your corp. I'm a mature miner with almost 2 mill skill points. I can fly a medium barge now, working towards the large barge and then the mother miner. I am a team player, I will mine for the corp but would like to make money. I'm in North America. I have heard greatthings about your corp |

Well you get paid very well for your time. The ore prices we buy in at are on page one. Not had any complaints from our members so far and I believe we had to pay one guy alone, 275 mill.

That's what I was told. Anyone interested can work it out themselves. Work out how much Ark or Bistot you'll mine over 3 or 4 hours and multiply it by 5000. Works out as a lot of money.

As a miner i can tell you that it's far easier to mine in our 0.0 "Empire" than in real Empire : i log in our refinery, jump in my barge, dock out and join an EDF op in same sys during 2 hours.
Results = 18M isk : then i go to bed because mining is tiring ;-))

I make more than the numbers posted by John per hour of actually mining in my medium barge (about 12m/hr) for EDF. His numbers probably include time spent oragnizing op, changing belts, etc, etc. In a large barge you can make a killing. And I wont even talk about what you can make in a Hulk, heh.
As for the Academy. I don't think it's open quite yet. Very very soon though, feel free to post your interest in joining it on our forums as outlined in a post above though.

The Academy will be opended soon but we need entrants. We're not going to run the class for one or two members. Register your interest, we'll get in touch and when we've enough, we'll open up
