Especally when you're using an afterburner instead of a microwarp drive. When I approached you from 60km with 1300m/s you had all the time in the world to warp out. There should ring a bell when a destroyer (and as you said, is fitted for anti frig) coming towards you. Anyway, you had guts and courage to fight me and it was fun. We could both have different setups, and the result would have been quite different. In this case it worked out for me. 8x125mm's sure can track a frig, especally when I had more speed than you and kept distance. I Win Rank (10) SP: 2,920,231/3,600,000

Have been testing, near continually, rifter setups. So far nothing has fit my fancy I don't have a ransom anymore though, so attacking my pod would only produce the lovely "pop" sound, but without the ISK streaming from my frozen corpse. --------------

And even then it's really depedant on situations. Prophecy? Generally not as I just can't break it's tank. I can eliminate the drones and avoid his larger weaponry just fun, even when webbed, but it's got an amazing tank that can sustain itself in cycles. Ferox? Yes and no. Sometimes it is possible when they launch EM missiles at me (before you laugh, think about it, one of the most uncommonly tanked armor setups is EM, it is usually the lowest resistance). Of course with a 70% resistance to EM I shrug it off, but it takes a LONG time to break the tank of the ferox. My EM/thermal damage helps against it's shields but it comes down to him running out of missiles or capacitor from tanking. The brutix? Yes and No. A common setup is two medium nos, eliminating my tank and the hybrid weaponry hits hard when webbed. The drones hurt, so the only way I can take out a brutix by myself is if he is mining. Cyclone is possible due to it's lack of a heavy tank, especially if it lops heavy missile. In fact I would say a cyclone is the easiest BC I've fought in my punisher because of the common setup of Artillary (I fly under them) and heavy missiles (I can shrug them off). Of course, two Nos (not one), will destroy my tank and force me to leave. More pilots need to start fitting smart and placing a webber and 1-2 Noses on their larger ships. Sure, it lowers your DPS for your primary weapons, but damage over time doesn't mean a damn thing if you can't push away ships that break through your primary guns/missiles. So, in short: Yes it is possible, that that is pushing the punisher WAY beyond it's limits and into heavy danger. --------------

Depending on ship classes, the average damage is 45 per gun, with varying damage of 29-70 per gun. EM may seem like a horrible armor breaker, but many times I've seen all of the other resistances at 65-70% with EM stuck at 60%, being the lowest. Again, depends in the target's loadout and hardeners. It's a bleeder setup, meant to shoot them to remove shield/armor/structure little by little (bleeding them to death) while allowing the larger ship to eventually run dry of capacitor while the punisher stays at 40-44% capacitor during the continual tank. --------------
