I hope the new warp effect means space deformation.
Also flying through on objects' texture without any effect ruins the illusion that those are actual material.
I hope these two things are what you are working on under the "new warp effect" title.

no, he said custom EVERYTHING skin ; ships but also others things, like for example stations.
he also said it was not for winter :P
glad the mentor is confirmed for amarr new ship, that's the only one is would have chosen. for the others races i would have prefered others choices (there were so much nice things on the contests) |

Actually, my main only flies Gallente/Caldari, so I'm totally cool with that. I saw on the feature page there were a ton of newly skinned Gallente ships (but not my Domi ), but didn't think they were game assets since I hadn't heard anything about ship redesigns except for the Raven.
The stupid, stupid Raven. This is like the third Raven redesign whereas all the other ships only got one. |

No, I quite like minmatar-ships, at least most of them. For example probe strikes me as a perfect cyno ship because it looks so flimsy, as if its just put together for one purpose only. Kind of like real life satellites.
My favorite hulls are sleipnir and hurricane. What bugs me is the asymmetry in caldari ships. And certain truly hopeless ships like moa and dominix. |

Great news. I really like the new Condor model. I just wish it would keep the old cockpit section, plus some random antennas to give it at least some asymmetric elemtents.
Naga is really fugly, and doesn't look Caldari at all in my opinion. Two thin sheets welded together. One explosion between those flimsy panels and its gone. Could be a Minmatar design.
I just hope the hulls I really like won't change all that much. Merlin, Kestrel, Caracal, Ferox and Rokh are about perfect.
Oh, and could we get rid of the circular baseplate of 425mm rails ? My Rokh looks goddamn stupid with teh new turrets. |
