I would rather be creating content than browsing through the market menu. So I would love to have an option to select a saved fitting, get a quote of cheapest cost in station, buy it and assemble it all in 1 action.
Most of us buy ships and fittings in trade hubs, and what we do is just go one by one buying the cheapest offer of the module we want. 90% of the time we dont care that a capacitor batery is cheaper than a cap recharger, because we will buy a cap rech anyway. So why spend our precious leisure time looking to a market menu instead of creating explosions and tears?.
So:
1 action: right click on fitting-->get quote
2 action: hit ok button
3 action: assemble and auto-fit ship
4 action: undock and pew pew.
This will reduce by 90% the time people spends shopping.
Bonus: Checks if you have that item on your hangar, and removes it from the buying list.

I support this, much like a production queue. Choose the fitting, select "Assemble" get a quote of the missing items (assuming they are available in station). Display price per unit, and average with a drop-down option to choose another meta or tech level.
Then klick assemble, where items are bought, fitted. - since 2003, bitches |

Yes please put this in, will make it much faster buying stuff. How about a bulk sell option as well. |

Interesting. Something like this could be implemented through the fitting service. It would require a UI change ofc.
I'm a little concerned about the possible ramifications of scamming or price-fixing. With an auto-purchase option people would get screwed by over-priced items very easily. Free Ripley Weaver! |

I'd rather see a shopping list. One that you can save and the client automatically finds all the modules/items on the market, gives you individual prices for them and the total cost.
Every time I get a new ship I know exactly what I'm buying. It's just painful to buy every module separately. The reason I want the shopping list rather than an automatic fitting system is that I don't necessarily want to fit the modules to my ship at the time. Maybe I want to just buy them and transport them elsewhere.
Even though my idea is slightly different, I'm supporting this. Would be interesting to know whether or not the technology exists to make this happen. |

I've found that, if you save your fits, you can just keep that fitting display open and right click down to "view market details" on each item. It could be better streamlined, but this is faster than searching for each item in a fit.
That said, I agree that it would be nice to see this polished a little better. |

The ability to mass buy or sell items to "best available price" is sorely missing. You also should not have to enter a right click menu 50 times to sell a bunch of junk in Jita. If someone mass sells incorrectly it is their own fault.
I would be fine (for that case) with a hotkey to bring up the "sell item" window but I see no reason market actions shouldn't be streamlined. It lends more potential profit to those who continue to work manually with the market. |

This literally should have been done in like 2005.
I HATE wasting 30 minutes fitting every damn ship. Yes there are ways around this in major hubs by mass buying, but dear god it's annoying. |

Why? You see the quote cost along with the cost of each module. Wouldn't be that hard. |

Thats what I do now, but I think its a waste of time. If I will always buy the cheapest option, why dont make it automatic?.
A quote screen like the one on contracts could work. |

I'll sign my name on this. Was just floating around SiSI, and discovering that it's a terrible pain in the ass to fit a large number of ships quickly. |
