Greetings
I was recently making a logistics dedicated clone and I have found out that there is nothing usefull on slot 10 for that purpose. Slot 10 is nice if your using weapons, but not at all usefull if your using logi.
The only thing that touches the logi pilot is the 'Noble' ZET-50, but thats just a few % on armor and thats really rather useless as logis aint built to tank. So I fly with an empty 10slot.
There are many attributes that could get boosted for logis, with more or less game changing effects.
Now I will list some of the attribute changes that I think a logi could use:
("could use" does not in any way meen they are neccesery, just that this effects would effect a logi)
-shield/armor transfer cycle
-shield/armor transfer amount
-shield/armor ransfer cap cost
-shield/armor transfer range
-agility
-signature
-targeting resolution
-tracking link effect
-tracking link cycle
-tracking link cap cost
-tracking link range
-...
Personaly I think a faster shield/armor transfer cycle could be a good one, as it would effectively raise the cap cost of the logi, and since most logis are allready barely balancing their cap, it would add an extra difficulty in making your fit just right with a reward for getting it right.
On the other hand im personaly opposed to reducing cap costs for transfer or link, as it would just make it easier to make a cap stable fit without it really being worth anything functionaly. |

Im sorry, obviusly i didnt make myself clear.
Slot 10 only provides armor +%
and not shield +%
which can be a bother if your minmatar
or just dont do armor tanking
but hey, thnx for bashing my idea with just saying that it CAN make a difference

Also, I apologise for my obviusly insane idea about logis not built for tank, as it seems to insult those who stick a ton of plates and extenders on theirs. Its a valid strategy, no objections there.
But when running in a good fleet, a valid strategy might also be in not having all module slots used up for personal gain, as the fleet might prefer that you have stuff that rather supports the fleet rather than just yourself.
As a personal opinion, even the 1 shield extender that I do have mounted represents a sig increase I am not too happy about. |
