When that happens, I'm told I'll be expecting the space problems I have now with drones going the wrong speed, humping, aggro when they shouldn't ect. I'll go one step further, however. If CCP is not going to address this, I want a credit to my training as I roll back every single drone skill I've ever trained (all of the combat skills, nearly to max in all cases) because I want to invest them in the turrets or missiles that WORK.

I was personally keeping three "fix drones" posts up for months just so you could get the message. I remember a dev came and said he found no problem with drones. Look, there IS a problem with drones, you didn't fix it, and we're really really **ed because you can't fix something we've been pointing at for at least half a year. WTF?!?!?

Shirer Aprenon	Posted - 2006.01.31 08:41:00 - [36] As another primary Drone user, which means these are my primary method of dealing damage, I can't think of any other weapon user who has to suffer with this sub optimal implimentation of drones in game. You've fixed missiles (and with skills boy are they hurtful) Now fix drones please. My main concerns are: 1. Gimped damage output as the drones saunter to their target. (once told to attack after killing one target - this is esspecially annoying if the targets are spread out, say 45 k to your front and 40 k to your rear) 2. Gimped damage output as they saunter back (even the workaround "return and orbit" sometimes leaves one or two sauntering back. Why should I waste good DOTage time recalling drones part way back to me in order to get them up to speed?) 3. The hugely annoying lag created whilst launching and recovering drones - why is this? 4. Inability to recover drones once they are "orbiting" 5. The incredibly broken return to dronebay - should rename it "Start poor pathing routine (at 1/10th max speed) and hang around outside of scoop range command" That's a better description. 6. Stop them auto attacking random stuff. At least have them auto attack something that has the main ship targetted. Now overall, this wasn't such a great issue when one drone type hit all classes of ship from Interceptors to BS. It does become an issue when you have to swap drone types, and it seriously reduces my dot. I don't get wound up about anything else in this game but this issue. Please fix it because it's shoddy. ------------------ Dad (noun) - someone who's wallet now contains a picture where his money once was.

Ankanos	Posted - 2006.01.31 12:19:00 - [38] signed i'm a drone fanatic.. you know as a show of good faith, if they would mearly replace the drone AI alterations when ganged to the regular drone AI when solo, this would go a long way in ridding alot of the issues we currently have with drones and make for a slightly happier playerbase. i have no clue if this is some insurmountable task or not. but if it isn't, i say make the swap asap. -ank ---

FIX THE DAMN DRONES CCP!! you would have a damnsite bigger problem if all rails started acting up, infact youd be so bugged with complaints that you would fix it straight away I bet... just because not as many people rely on drones as do on guns doesnt mean they deserve less attention... oh and a couple of pointers I would like to add... 1) Lets have some kind of transferral of drones from your cargo hold to your dronebay please, makes things a whole lot easier. (in space so you don't have to dock I mean, especially handy in 0.0) 2) BRING BACK DRONE BAYS!!! 200m3 in the thorax down to 50m3... its a discrace! 3) If your not gonna fix dronebay can we have a special type of drone ship for people not skilled enough to fly carriers? ie a ship class all in itself, equivalient to battlecruisers in skill requirements or something... with lots of drone bay, lots of drone bonuses and then compensate by taking off HP/speed/gun offensive etc... maybe T2 drone cruisers? there we are I'm done ranting for now... CCP PLEASE FIX MY DRONES!!! theyre my favorite part of the game and I don't like them bieng bugged to hell!!! I don't mind waiting for something to be fixed but where I come from, No response to a situation is considered extremely rude... sigh I came over from Ever***** 2 cause I like space games. But they atleast acknowledge problems or send you a specified note giving some kinda detail or explanation. I might just end up going back :( But note this. I really don't wanna go back..
