If potential bidders feel Ms. Vea is not going to honor her bids for whatever reason and are willing to risk losing, then can use her bids as a ceiling and bid up to it given that the rules provide that if the primary bidder doesn't pay, it goes to the 2nd highest bid. That being said, the safest course is of course to place a winning bid.

So using that biddiing strategy the ceiling for Sir Shutaq and I is 500 million isk, and the ceiling for the others that have not yet been exceeded (Kat is one due to a 225 million isk) is 200 million isk.

Oh dear, and it means Anslo is the current second bidder for me!

And what, pray tell, are these? Without knowing these, its obvious this charity event is simply there to line some pockets. I'm quite amused to see people willingly throwing billion of ISK away like this.

Well now I just feel inadaquate.

I assure you nothing is staged. My goal for the auction, total, was five billion. We've surpassed that by a great sum and I am thrilled and and somewhat humbled by their bidding.

Since the sums are so high at this point, I feel guilty for only giving one date. I will give four to the winner. And if there are any more bids beyond these last, I will offer one date per every extra billion.

Forgive me if I am wrong, but if an event is truly for charity the charity ought to be advertised throughout the event, if not taking precedence.
