I donÆt know what CCP thinks of these guys but i would i guess they havenÆt put 2 and 2 together and figured out there messing up the game but selling isk online and botching up the market by selling minÆs for low cost. The way I see it there are a few simple solutions to it BAN macro mining and make everyone aware you are doing so. Put a permanent ban on anybody caught macro mining. One way to find out who is macroing is to set up a system where by a player would spot a macro miner then send in the name of the macroer, maybe through a new sub-category of petition then ccp would set up a log on that character which records mouse clicks and the like and if there is a pattern repeating every 50sec or whatever ban them. Or if its possible set up eve so that it monitors the computer itÆs on and if it notices a macro program running it will shut down eve. I know ccp said they are going to ban people selling isk but TBH IÆm sure we all know they are only going catch the small time guys.

what do you mean research before offering solutions the forums are for voiceing our oppinions and that is what i am doing........
And yes i do read the news and i have yet to hear of anybody acutally getting cought and banned or at least its not on a large scale like it should be. Yea ofcourse i have sent a petition, my idea is that when you choose the "Other" category, you choose "Report Macro Miner" from the drop down list. TBH i thought everyone would understand that but i suppose "Theres Allways One"

Pattern search doesn't help much against professional macroers. Creating a randomized macro that resembles human action is trivially easy. -------------------- This solution to BM-related server resource usage can reduce lag with the same interface. |

Those large macro miner ops might not be selling isk but instead mining to fill trit orders. Takes a ton of trit to build freighters, dreads and carriers. One capital mount for the amarr dread is about a armageddon worth of minerals to build.

of course you don't hear about it you nit, right to privage and the user agreement means that CCP can't tell you who they have and haven't banned for ANY reason. Just because you don't know what they're doing doesn't mean they're not doing it, it's simply none of your business. You can petition to have exploiters, hackers & all the rest of it banned. This conversation is dead.

"checking repetive pattern" nice...
when I'm mining in empire... I'm doing always the same pattern over and over again. Am I a macro miner now?

Dude, do yourself a favor and read one of the billion or so threads created this week alone about macro miners. Then read the dev blog and hear their thoughts on it. The topic is nauseatingly well covered.
And bear in mind that posting a title in all caps only makes it capitalized, not interesting.
Another rule of thumb is that every exclamation point dilutes the impact of all others by half. So by the time you've added four your message carries essentially no import, only hysteria.
