To whom it concerns,
I would like to know if they are going to increase the choices for tech I ships. Thusly adding more variaty. I.e adding another top line frigate or two to add depth to the game.
Also why are the tech II variants based on the same type of tech I ship (jaguar and wolf for example). With the added variaty of ships the tech II variants can be altered or added too. Teir 2 - 3 Assault frigates come to mind.
Finally. Will their ever be a non-race specific selection of ships? If so, what will their roles will be?
Thankyou

so adding destroyers and battle cruisers a few months ago wasnt enough? whats the point of adding any more low lev content when everyone grows out of it after 6 months

Hi my name is Gierling, I have 20 million plus skillpoints and have never piloted a tech tow ship and never intend two.
Tech I ships are not low level content, they are the bedrock that the entire game experience is based on. More tech I ships is vastly prefereble to more tech II ships, as that is content that is immedietly accessible to most everyone in game.
As far as Tech II goes, I'd like to see it reduced to "kits" which give specific bonuses and penalties and can be applied to any tech I ship of a certain class. So you could purchase an Rodan Shipyards Interceptor kit, and apply it to an Atron and get a Taranis, or you could apply it to a Tristan and get an extra high, mid, 200 MS of speed and the ranis bonuses.

Of course this will happen, but if CCP added everything in one patch, what would be the reason for staying around for the next one?

Tier 3 battleships are due in Kali, and I hope that CCP find the rtime to introduce the missing Amarrian frigate sometime, too.

By the same merit, whats the point in adding titans and motherships when only a small amount of players will ever actually use them? Ofcourse, if EVE is still alive in 3 years time, titans will be the new BS, but who cares eh? They're rare now afterall.
Just something to keep people amused, and paying their subscription.

Titans will never by new BSes. Titans are not combat ships...
Carriers have potential to be common. Motherships will be not to hard to spot in few months... but Titans - nope - ------------------------------------------- Helios enterprises is recruiting. 0% tax, 100% fun. |

The Amarr are a little short on tech frigates. I love owning different ships especially frigates cos they're cheap. I would also like to see more faction frigates released but you can't have everything.

because it isn't T2 with insanely low BPOs that gets the price jacked to 150 million per ship without modules. T1 has it's place.

I think more ships is a fantastic idea, i've been waiting my entire EVE life for a ship that can refine ore in space, is it really too much to ask? More tech I, non-racial ships will only be a boost to the game, Variety is the spice of life afterall.

IMHO the sixth Amarr frigate should be a Bronze magnate with seriously debuffed stats.

and none racial ships = Concord
also note, pirate faction ships are not exactly race specific, more multi race specific

How about debugging. CCP is really good at building bugs in patches. No further offence to CCP of course, they are only humans, and they make mistakes... nothing wrong with that. It is pretty annoying though...

Would be nice to see a category of non-race specific craft, maybe call it "civilian" class vessels. They could have more rigid specs, by no means combat vessels if their civilian ships. Example: Salvage ship which you could just load up 3 to 4 tractor beams only with beam range bonus per lvl to increase its usefulness. Just a thought,

oh yeah, and giving it a new model would be nice to, put it under the Industrial Ship category. It dosent have to look fancy, hell, ugly would be fine, its a industrial ship salvaging garbage. When's the last time you saw people spending time to detail a garbage truck with some polished aluminum spinners for wheels? So, nothing fancy would be needed, they could prob just throw some minmitar parts together with some glue and duct tape and that would be just fine. http://www.eve-files.com/media/corp/PAKTU/Paktu_Sig_MamerJamer.jpg |

IIRC industrials have high CPU because they were intended to be able to refine and manufacture.
However, that never materialised, for various reasons, lot least that the 'factory system' didn't support it.
However, since they've done the new build queues, that has become feasible. I would like to see a 'factory ship'. An Industrial (or hell, even a capital ship) that can run refining and manufacturing in space.
Along with it's wing of barges and escort ships, it can eat belts, and leave little strings of shuttles in it's wake. -- We are recruiting

It WOULD be interesting from both a gameplay and RP perspective if Concord released a line of civilian ships. Or even shuttles.

I'm still waiting for my agent to offer me the Navy Issue Shuttle. 750m/s base speed, and one med slot to fit an afterburner. ________________________________________________

ooooh, a concord line of ships would really be interesting. But, since they wouldn't be race specific, what kind of weapon bonuses would they possess?

Concord ships should be accessible, and very good (with flat large turret bonuses). But only be accessible to conduct law operations against criminals by players with a high security status who have never had negative security status.
