Because they are a good common enemy and when you see local rise with BOB you know you are in for a good fight and no smack on local!
We all can't be friends so thank got for good enemys like .5. and BOB that can and do field nice fleets to fight.
BTW I hate BOB too, but respect where its due.

BoB hated? Not really.
Like it or not, they are one of the more successful
alliances out there.
Feared? Perhaps. They've got a very useful ability to mobilise a lot of combat pilots. They've got a well developed industrial wing to support their operations.
So of course, they must be cheating, h4xing and seducing GMs, because otherwise the self proclaimed l33t PvPers would be winning.
I'm impressed by what BoB have accomplished. I think they are setting the benchmark (at least at the moment) for what it's possible for a 0.0 alliance to accomplish.
And if they come gunning for me, I'll be worried too :).

I respect all pilots who engage even battle even when traveling and doesnt run away/log off for the first sight of battle.
BoB has probaply one of the highest % of these pilots coz they keep their rosters clear.
dont like how they operate? feeling bad when they kill your carebear friend who didnt watch local?
its not their fault that they are good.
I dont fear them, I dont love them, I dont hate them, I respect them.
