As I keep getting errors when trying to bug report this, i'll try and warn people here.

Mission: Angel Surprise
Normally a easy and straight forward mission - not this time. Popped the cargo ship, got the spawn.
Took out the 3 Angel Legionaires and 1 BS then turned to the 5 Angel Centurions - which all of a sudden I note have a cruiser ship yet a bounty of 375k each (more than the BS bounty). Start firing with cruise (optimised ammo for Angels) and do...
35 damage.
Keep firing - could be inbetween MWD whatever - but even cruise with good missile skills does more than this. Back to base switch to Torps. Fly back out, attack and do..
20-30 damage.
hmm. Flyback (they aint threatening my tanking abilities at all - defo cruiser/bc damage coming in) - fit every wierd n wonderful weapon I can to my Raven.
2 Light Lasers 1 425m Rail 1 Hvy Launcher 1 Light Launcher 2 Cruise 1 Large Smartbomb
Re-engage - nothing is doing more than 50 damage - at all. The light lasers which hit Inties for 36-40 are doing - 2 dam.
Anyone else come across this? Can anyone properly bug report this for me as I cant access the proper procedure here (or ingame - and yes i've tried many times).

Arch Angel Centurion - Cruiser
They're firing piranha lights - nothing is doing beyond 50 damage to them and their shield regen reminds me of a Seraphim - but better - any damage is within 2-4 seconds healed.
Totally Bizarre.

I do angel surprise all the time and my cyclone fitted with 5 220mm II with fusion ammo and 3 heavy launchers with Havocs burn through them in a few minutes.

Had actually switched to Exp as it was the only main type I hadnt properly tried and as long as I catch them MWD they do go down (surely this is wrong though lol - Exp do least dam to shields).
But who am I to argue - silly bounties and one to remember - i'll adjust this title - but maybe CCP should adjust the title of Angel Centurion to HAC rather than just cruiser?

if u check the new naming conventions that came in at RMR anything which uses "arch angel" is the way to identify that it is an elite version of ship.
and will be an inty, AF or HAC.
in addition if u check resists on tech2 ships u will find that the traditional practice of using EM damage versus shields and expl versus armor doesn't apply.

Here are the resists for it that I found in the database and why I said explosive damage.
shield 90% em 72% exp 79% kin 85% therm
and same for the armor 90% em 72% exp 79% kin 85% therm
My tank holds just long enough against all 5 or 6 in the mission to kill 1 at a time, usually.

I love this mission. I do it in my Cerberus... kill the transport at 99km, wait for the spawn, drop a BM, then warp away. Warp back at 40km from BM, and proceed to kill the BS, then the Battlecruiser Legionnaires, then the HAC Centurions.
The extra 25% kinetic damage is sufficient to kill the HAC's...though it takes roughly 13-15 volleys each... (need to improve my missile damage a little).
It's probably the only mission that gives bounties anywhere near on par with 0.0 and lowsec.

Explosive damage is generally the best to use against any Angel ship as it seems to be the weakest resistance they have across the board.

I have also had the "pleasure" of coming across the angel hac's now and then doing surveillance missions for republic fleet. As others said, until i didn't check the new name lists i didn't realize i was fighting hac's.
It is kinda crazy if they get within close range of a sniping tempest (what i use in lvl4's), they are strong enough to resist 2xlight missile attacks and 5 scout drones (new skills at lvl4 included), if you ain't using exp dmg. Hell, some BS and the like i have tackled would eventually go down with just lights and the scouts i mentioned, but these guys can soak the dmg better  ________________________________________

6 Tech 2 Mega beams on APoc i break their tank easy and use tech 2 Exp drones.
they just take longer to go down but they do **** damage.

I had this mission today. I have been doing lvl4's quite awhile now, but this was my first encounter of this mission.
This is my Raven set-up for it:
High:
6 Arbalest Heavy launchers with Havocs (Explosive) 2 T2 Medium Heavy Pulse
Medium:
Dread XL Shield Booster (or T2 XL) Booster Amp T2 EM, Thermal, Explosive and Vulnerability Hardeners
Low:
3 T2 PDU 2 T2 BCU
And 5 Hammerheads, but 5 Explosive drones would have been better.
I went for the Arch Angel Centurions first, as they seemed to do the most DMG.
Tank held up well, and the Centurions went down at a ok sort of speed.

For me, it is six volleys of bane torpedoes and three heavy painter drones to take these badboys down, they are damned nasty. But, the torps do fairly well.
