I've included chatlogs of the event, but here is a short summary: I was kicked out of KHM Corporation [KHM C] for disagreeing with one of their policies in an impolite manner. Since I was in the area and knew some people in Goonfleet, I decided I'd apply so I'd have people to mine and PvP with. For some reason Goonfleet decided that I was a paid spy and proceeded to scam me out of 65m in "trust money" and pod me. This is the good cop/bad cop chatlog started by a convo from Boxcar McGee following my application (I've edited it out useless parts because it is rather long) [05:13:23] Boxcar McGee > Well anyways, we obviously have some questions about coming into the corp. As you probably know, we have had a lot of problems with corp thefts and spies. Goonfleet is composed of members of http://forums.somethingawful.com and since I'm a member too and because in the past goons (ie. members of said forums) and especially Goonfleet members have made a big deal of being against goons scamming goons I sort of thought I could trust them. Now I just need to pick myself up and continue, but I just wanted to post this here to tell people how Goonfleet rolls.

Buddy, you left KHM because you didn't like MrReebok's policies. MrReebok is one of our closest allies and we like him a whole lot more than people from his corp who can't be asked to defend their own space when they're free to mine crokite and rat in good space 23/7. If you have a problem with what we did, you talk to Reebok and have him talk to me and I'll set things straight. Otherwise we're certainly not going to take KHM's rejects into GoonFleet on any sort of good faith.

You're not going to give him his money back; it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. But you're going to allow 65 million dollars to tarnish an already undesireable name in the EVE Universe. Good game, champ.

If you were suspicious then you should've said NO to his application and that's it. But as someone already said who the hell spies with his main?? EVERY!!!!! goon run corp has ended in under 3-5 months. I should know, Ive been in just about every one of them in the ALMOST 2 years ive been playing. Also, its extremely comical to see lordless in here trying to flame since all they do is scam and grief. Also, goodluck with getting scammed out of 500-700M isk a few days ago. I hope that works out for you. also, be aware of firstname lastname/joseline trying to constantly scam people

Sure you can come back and bring your whole pvp alliance to try and take OSS space Mr Morph, but I strongly suspect that the second you undock your dread and it goes hostile, a lot of people are going to turn up to shoot it. We all like killing dreads after all. GF have a lot of spies in their corp, with a lot of it's enemies even admitting to it in this thread. As a consequence they take the harshest possible stance towards people they believe to have ill intent. He says he wasn't a spy but at the end of the day they have their evidence none of which they have any obligation to give to you.

Most of the people attacking goonfleet in this thread fall into one of three categories: - Members of the alliance that recently withdrew from a war against us and our OSS allies - Bitter ex goons who were in failed competition with goonfleet for the status of "first successful, stable goon corp" - Griefers attacking us for supposedly griefing What happened here? A couple of members of goonfleet administered a financial spanking to someone who, for whatever reason, had been deemed persona non grata. As if that weren't enough, though, when you take the money of someone who leaves a corp, gives 65 million isk to an allied corp for membership and gangs with a member of said corp in 0.0 before being made a member that's just evolution in action. This guy disobeyed the first rule of life in 0.0: only you can prevent your own arse getting set on fire and used as a barbeque by people who may pretend to be your friend to accomplish it.
