Thanks and sorry about the size, I used alot of texture brushing so that may have upped the file seize by alot. I'll be working on another for a longer ammount of time and i'll have it posted sometime near the due date. :)

I do love deviantart, and wallpaper websites, we all get our backgrounds from somewhere, and change them our own way for the siggys, im not making RL money with it, so no crime here (since crime is when u profit in RL with work that is not totaly made by you) as it seems and im not the only one getting images from other places to make siggys, since we need to "brainstorm" ideas. so no flamming need done here :) gl with the competition mate
An excellent point BB, It's the same with the brushes and renders I use. I do some different styles and stuff but without brushes and renders the sig would look too bland. I absolutley love your style and I think you along with a few others are going to be top dawgs in this competition.

Have you tried saving them as GIF files with less colors (128? 64?) and an adaptive palate? Generally it's easy to keep it under the 24k limit that way and the dithering is tough to notice. As another option, try keeping the files a bit smaller than the 400x120 limit if you want the full color.

If the mods make trouble out of a few bytes it as simple as lowering the quality with 1 tiny lvl, removing 1 row of pixels or lowering color intensity to make it fit, untill they start whining about 300 or 600 bytes more I like to keep things as they are.

my siggys have been removed for 10-50 bytes, i have no doubt you'r will be as well. Don't take this comments as in insult, but as an advice, if u can change the size, do so before the GMs do, violating any rules of the forum can get u kicked, and i think this kind of rule is no exception.

Unfortunately I won't be entering this contest. Normally I'd love to since 100m isn't to be ignored. However due to bad health I'll bow this one out.
@Mather Maelstrom: If I were you I would observe the sig rules because then there is no need to redo the sig before delivering it to the client. Getting it right first time saves alienating the moderators, your clients and other potential clients.

That is pritty sick to be honest, (sig removal for 50 bytes for real?).
Been having different sigs some 300-400 bytes over the official 24000 limit, those didn't get removed, guess I was just lucky.
Anyways I will update them doesn't take so much time (just did my own and the latest version).
This sort of attitude would explain why I never got a reply to my e-mail (a really polite one), hardly would call it forum modding more like some strict evil Amarr regime.

Accidental Presidency + a kerning and height adjustment for his name, and Myriad Pro with another kerning adjustment for the corp name. The corp name looked better by itself than it did anti-aliased, because of the size of the font and the kerning, so I kept it like that.

Thank you to all who took the time to enter the competition. There were so many that my judge had a hard time picking a winner and runners up. The winners have been sent their prizes.

The hardest part was picking sigs. Your bottom one and 3rd from bottom are awesome.
