I didn't suggest or otherwise imply that Caldari are missile only (obviously they use railguns too). Just that missiles are fairly predominant. Look at the number of missile vs. railgun-based ships in each class and you'll get a casual idea of missile use. Just as examples, 5/6 battleships use missiles... 3/5 battlecruisers use missiles.

and the 6th battleship, Rokh, pulls out ahead as the fleet ship of choice for many crews. Very popular minority that 1 bs.
Well that and for whatever reason ccp will not give another (edit: hybrid, NM counts for guns) gun boat to caldari. I'd happily see the death of one of the navy missile BS' to get a navy rokh instead if it had to be a 1 for 1 swap.
Or to even it up less drastically I'd also be open to say scorpion getting guns. That way it covers t1 and t2 to even things up. I'd even be nice enough to let SNI stay missiles for ole times sake. Rattler we could argue over...with its range for sentries imo rails be better to be more even but thats me There is demand for caldari gun boats its just all the missiles boats clog up the path to it.
Here enters naga. New set of bc's and ccp gave guns. No legacy ships were hurt in the making of this move. Naga rates highly in the tier 3 circles. Also as mentioned in this thread and others before torp naga was killed on sisi. Those who flew it did not mourn its passing. By many accounts it sucked ass. Guns a change that worked out well of it. |

I honestly really like the idea of a tier 3 BC that uses missiles, especially with the addition of RHMLs.
