I suggest you check which directory you are runnign eve form, looks like you've run eve from the exefile in the bin directory, rather than the standard launcher link. Your shortcut is likely misdirected.
Run form eve.exe in the main eve directory instead. ---- Runner BH Lead |

What Runner said... either run eve.exe from the root folder or run bin\exefile.exe /noconsole to get rid of this. The binary files have been moved to a special directory to prep for 64 bit client deployment so eve.exe is just a launcher now.
EDIT: Now when I think about it a little bit more. You might be running it from eve.exe, but then every time you lose your connection, the client starts the exefile.exe again with no commandline parameters, thus showing the console. ------ Valar Quality assurance department CCP games How to write a good bugreport |

Uh why would you get excited over a 64 bit client? The chance for performance increase is minimal. Now if it is 64 bit and dual-core aware then that would be something.
I don't think you trust, in, my, self-righteous suicide. |

Does this mean the 'restart' flag should be turned off? Also, IS there an inactive timer? If so, it must be whacked cuz it drops me two or three times during a 15+ hop trip :-/
Actually, I seem to have a LOT more disconnects from the test server than Tranq.

This does not mean the restart flag should be turned off, this is just a bug that needs to be fixed and is now in our defect tracking system. And there is no inactivity timer, if you get dropped alot, it must be something on the route from you to the server. ------ Valar Quality assurance department CCP games How to write a good bugreport |
