Malka seems to have said this a lot. Perhaps she shouldn't have posted her setup on the forum? Or perhaps she should change her setup?
Well, in MMO PvP it's all rock paper scissors, Eve just happens to be a very complex version. Why not play it smart and avoid the rock to your scissors?
And in response to why there are alot of rats coming to defend Malka, he was one of the more helpful in game and out of game pirates, posted (and ran?) a popular pirating site and generally knew how Eve combat works.

I agree, the actions of the tard who had the gall to call you at home are just... Wow.
He should be in prison, and his stuff given to Malka. If he was the CEO of a Corp, the Corp's stuff too just for pain and suffering.

No, but refering to a female character as male in a game is kind of weird.
Anyhow, why would Malka be lying?
If needed to be proven one could just show the police report.
However, that's hardly something which should be posted on these forums.

And furthermore, why isn't there reason to believe it? I mean, it's obvious people go nuts IRL over this game. And for something so asinine and unheard of, I really, sadly don't put it past some of the people that play this game.

Out of a population of thousands at least a few will be psychotic.
Considering that eve has over 100000 accounts it's not so strange if there would be a few psychos among this crowd.
People who are famous or well known will always be a potential target of the insane, be it awe or jealousy.

Am saying this is internet. Which means:
a) it may be a very common 'net case of person seeking public attention and recognition, through exaggeration of one's importance and achievements, starting multiple threads and articles revolving around themselves and their deeds, and eventually through dramatic public exit(s) due to drastic circumstances.
b) it may be a case of simple mistake combined with the option a) ... as there is really nothing in presented events and conversation, that'd really indicate the mysterious caller actually spoke to the person they intended to speak to, nor that it had anything to do with small scale 'pirating' in a computer game.
c) it might indeed be a (rare) genuine psychopath that got so annoyed with a loss of frigate or cruiser worth few mil isk in computer game, they took their time to search the 'net in order to look up personal details of two-bit 'pirate' who caused them that loss, then paid gods know how much real money to make a one sentence call abroad that made very little sense given the people in question supposedly aren't even living in the same country.
while it's hard to tell which is indeed the case, Occam's razor may help.
