Unfortunately my beloved CEO has left indefinite period of time. Thanks to some poor guy that can't separate real life from Eve, who made threating calls to his home. The flames on the forums were bad enough, heaven forbid we try something new in Eve, outside the normal following of the ships bonus. 
So no you will not being seeing Malka in space anytime soon, if ever. So no more helping the new players in the darkness channel. So now we are short one more light in Eve's night sky. Well I hope who ever did that is happy with themselves. Well anyway see you in space.

Well he has been around where I hang out recently, Daran, and surrounding systems.
I tried to get him to attack me in his Thorax when I was in a Caracal but he seemed un-interested. I gave him ample oppurtunity to attack me on a gate (I'm under -5, he isn't) then also warped to a belt and he never followed.
I could maybe have given him more time ( he seemed to be up to something, possibly trying to maneuver me into a perfect position for web and blaster death) but I had to go log.

And you probably won't for a long time now. Per the article "The end of my story" it appears a few more morons in the world have another useless win under their belt. It is a shame too. Malka was a respected individual who decided to sway from the out-of-the-box frigate setups and opted for more experimental designs. Malka would then test these setups and post the results whether good or bad. He always kept the community up to date as to the pro's and con's of a ships design and openly accepted any idea's the community would have as to better a design. In every post he made there was always at least one indivdual who had to flame and say the setup was lousy (in most cases without data to back up their claim btw, but that is another topic all together). Malka's posts were very important to me as the results were based on experience and not theory. As a relative new player to eve I have learned a great deal of information from even just a few of Malka's posts. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that Malka will be missed very much. And more over, to have to leave for the reason's that he did. There's just no reason to ever take it outside of the game. It's just a damn shame.

what happened was i was tooling around had ejected a slasher in belt 1 and was waiting for some hapless soul...at first it was carlito but she was too smart then some newb pirate warped in and started shooting "ethan tomlinson's slasher"
so i uncloaked in my buzzard and popped him. carlito saw the whole thing and i convo'd her and told her not to say anything in local and she didn't. so we pretended she blew up my slasher and i brought a rifter out to belt one...
then we started trying to get malka to fight my rifter and he started saying i was ebayed and didn't know how to play and some other **** so the moral of the story is he wouldn't undock to fight a rifter and is a big ***** plus really pompous and talks a lot and i found this local convo extremely ammusing... enjoy!!!

That local convo seems to show that you attempted to set Malka up, she refused to undock for specific reason, and showed a great understanding of survivability.
You even just admitted you were flying something completely seperate, so why should anyone have undocked in the first place? She didn't fall for your trap, and that makes her stupid?

Er, are you even a pirate? You are describing a PvPer, possibly in a 0.0 alliance, not a pirate. A pirate doesn't want nor need even odds since that goes agaisnt their very nature. There is no desire to go out and "OMFG 1V1 PLZ" because that isn't what they find fun nor profitable.
You are confusing your terminology and the roles in EVE. Might want to stop before things get worse.

Agreed, but that isn't the issue here. He wanted to engage Malka's punisher setup specifically, something that (according to the killboard she posted at) isn't her primary pirating ship. She could have been docked in an omen or maller for all we know (again, just going off the killboard), but in the end this person wanted to engage the punisher setup not the current ship.

She isnt the best pirate i've ever seen nor is she the worst. If you knew how to bait pirates when specifically fitted to take them you would not be camping stations nor saying a word in local. Perhaps apart from "need help with rats in XI - 2" or something.

Sorry Ethan, I've only played a few weeks and am truly a n00b, but all your logs show me was that no amount of lame smack-talking could force Malka to overcome her intelligence and waltz into your trap.
I plan on being a pirate someday, and I don't share your opinions on what a pirate is. I plan to attack when I see opportunity, hide/run when there's danger, victimize the weak and run from the strong.
Accepting challenges, walking into traps, dashing headlong into uncertain dangers... that's the work of some noble warrior or knight in shining armor. That's not even close to my definition of piracy.

i would have taken her maller too... in fact when i heard she had maller i docked and fitted 2 amarr jammers lol... it didn't really **** me off... actually it did **** me off that i didn't find her in a belt cause thats where i expected her to dock but still my local convo errupted when i realised she wasn't coming out to play... perhaps i should have shut up but i like to talk in local and if i recognize a name i will definitly speak up in local cause after all this is a game and i dont care what i say to people in a game

In that situation, if i was malka, i would have undocked and warped to belt just cause i like it like that... hell i wouldn't have been in station in the first place i would have been warping around scanning
malka just has a different style of play and was kind of pompous for a newb and not one i would consider a true badass pirate like ikvar or somebody.

She's said multiple times that Malka isn't her main, so I doubt she's a newbie. And I doubt, with her mentioning this in your log, that she cares what you think of her. She has her own style and it doesn't seem to matter if you cared or not.
The very fact that you get upset because someone refuses to undock because of a circumstance that doesn't feel right says quite a bit about your EVE experience. Most pirate players are not looking to run into the middle of a battle when it's obvious they will lose. Your lame local call out was an obvious trap, and malka would have been an idiot for undocking to "take a peek".
Find another profession. I hear Jita needs more miners.

I wont let someone ever tell me how to play or provoke me into a trap; it would make me stupid and lower me to your level of intelligence. After all my whole goal would be to kill you and your smack talkin brethren so I would make sure I had the people to do it, and your posts prove that you know nothing of real eve pvp, or even how to win a fight so my guess is you lose a lot of ships.

I wouldn't of undocked either. No need to prove anything. Dueling isn't pvp. Calling people out isn't pvp. That's pvp on easy mode. It's all about the suprize. You can beat anyone with that on your side. Weakness is always a option. That's the advantage you want. You know, them not knowing they're about to get beat.

Ok. quick note, pirates, like all other PvP-ers in this game estimate their chsnces off winning a conflict and then decide if they have favourable odds. except the occasional oddball who likes trying to take as many as possible before their own ship goes boom, I'm one off those that sometimes do, usually out off excessive boredom, but never risking anything i can't afford to throw away in this manner

Well, in MMO PvP it's all rock paper scissors, Eve just happens to be a very complex version. Why not play it smart and avoid the rock to your scissors?
And in response to why there are alot of rats coming to defend Malka, he was one of the more helpful in game and out of game pirates, posted (and ran?) a popular pirating site and generally knew how Eve combat works.

c) it might indeed be a (rare) genuine psychopath that got so annoyed with a loss of frigate or cruiser worth few mil isk in computer game, they took their time to search the 'net in order to look up personal details of two-bit 'pirate' who caused them that loss, then paid gods know how much real money to make a one sentence call abroad that made very little sense given the people in question supposedly aren't even living in the same country.
while it's hard to tell which is indeed the case, Occam's razor may help.
