I recently got a BC(Brutix), and i pretty much like it. But i allready want to begin training for the next ship class, and i dont really know wich. First ive thought about moving on to a domi or mega, but ive read about somebody yelling at noobs because they use BS too early, and started thinking about AF. I run lvl2 missions right now, have just about 800-900k SP and very low learning skills. I know, both have their pro's and cons, but still, what would you recomend to fly for a noob like me?

AF's are decent ships but there power wayns without propor skills you can only do so much with an AF without high mechanic skills/gunnery
BS On the other hand in the hands of a noob or not can RAT decently and still be a "small" asset to a fleet bu tonly if you can perform your BS's primary function right..
First thing to note is Domi is an OUTSTANDING armor tank and GREAT NPCing ship but almost never allowed in a flet due to it being maily only good with drones (wich lag fleet combat to hell) and to armor tank (and tanking is a absolute NO NO in fleet because you dont fire at random **** fleets focus fire wich means reguardless ofy our uber tank you will STILL DIE if called primary target) Mega on the other hand can RAT but not nearly as good as the Domi can but is a MUCH better asset in fleet due to its great long range engageing wich is what fleets of BS's like to do but if your not in an alliance the PVP's much id still say go BS domi primarily because you can make money decently fast killing high end rats in a domi (domi can solo any and all lvl 4 missions with the right setup) so its basically what you like most Fast and not that great of firepower at low skill levels or slow as **** with the ability to dish out enough damage to keep yourself well funded for the rest of your life... purely your choice mate :)
The ability to perceive or think differently is more important than the knowledge gained. |

I'd recomend you stick with the BC for the moment, when you have a couple of mil more SP get a BS
T2 ships rarely insure for anywhere near what you pay for them, fly one only when you can afford to loose it

Spend a little bit more time in your Brutix Seg, you should be able to do most if not all level 3 missions in it.
I'm in the same boat as you- except I think im saving money for a Tempest, but training for a wolf. If my money grows fast, I'll buy a BS, but if it lingers where it is right now, I'll kill stuff with my Wolf and get one later.
Don't know if that helped at all.

i'd stick with brutix for now i have a million SP in gunnery and 900k in missiles and 2 million SP in spaceship command and my raven and retribution dont go at half theyre capacity but in brutix or any BC most low end equipment works quite well and with a assault frigate you need T2 guns not a very good asset at youre level unless you really want to train hard in them just ADVICE if you dont agree dont listen ___________________________ Now thats a face for radio!

with 900k sp i would say stick with the brutix and train up a few categorys of skills first.
i'd say give learning skills priority, after that do gunnery, drones and mechanic for armor tanking. also some engineering and electronics skills for cap and fitting purposes.
all those are good to improve before moving on to more advanced ships.

Lots of older players are telling me not to move up to a Battleship until I have 5 Mil. skill pts (minimum).

Just get one when you can afford to lose it.
