today the server reminds me of the days after patch,
what is going on? the whole empire and south 0.0 is lagging to much

It lags every Sunday when the player count goes above 21k.

There are easily 50% more people on than the servers can handle, and you can feel it from the deepest 0.0 system to the most crowded hub.

the server started lagging at 16k users about 6-8 hours before
something is wrong this particullar sunday

I wonder if this has anything to do with proximity to their servers. I'm in the UK and have been playing on and off all day in Jita and the nearby systems, and haven't lagged once - seriously not even a stall.
Markets, entering space, jumping to other systems all working instantly.
Maybe that area is clear?

That's because you're way cooler than everyone else...
It was so laggy for me in Essense core systems for me this afternoon that I was having some really whacky graphical glitches. First I tried undocking from a station and sat on a black screen for 15 minutes. Then I logged out and back in and while I was able to get out of the station, the background was totally missing and it was completely white. Once I got out of the core systems though the lag was merely intolerable instead of unplayable...

im also in the UK, and according to my comp, im still jumping. 5 hours...

finally could logged in and got stuck :)
resolved that problem, however.. I'm starting to like this black window, while docking out of a station :)
