allready said this in a thread below but incase newer pilots dont see this just remember...
it doesn't work to ctrl-click pods btw...only ships for some reason... to lock the pod make sure u approach the ship before it blows up because if u are orbiting u will just continue motoring in a path tangent to your orbit as he was blown up...
when he dies keep your mouse icon hovering over your overview when u see his pod symbol appear select it then the target lock icon in upper right of over view(looks like some crosshairs). once u get past the shakes and uncontrolable sweating at your arm pits from your first few pvp fights you will become very effective at locking capsules if u are in a frig :) good luck

It's better to select your scambler/disruptor and click it on the target on overview instead of doing that. Being you never know when you might lag between the click and the execution of the module.

And then you have your overview set by range and the supposed target swaps places with something else. ^_^

I don't see a reason for anyone that doesn't call targets to sort by range...?

Doh! *smacks forehead* Easy solution to an irritating problem (along with different saved overviews)...

Not sure if this has been mentioned, if so I apoligise:
Watch out for your security status! Our Corp (Khanid Bloodraider Pirate corp) and characters are less then a week old and will get trouble in empire pretty soon.
So: be carefull in podding (you pod someone and the whole gang youre in gets the security status hit), and dont attack everything in sight if you want to keep access to Empire (which is pretty handy when still a noob).
