1st: I fly in groups because flying alone bores me out of my mind (so I'm not worried about being tuff enough to solo), and I suck at PvP.
2nd: Anyone successfully fly around in a fast ENYO setup?
Suggestions please: I would like to fly a fast ENYO, that at least can spit out some damage.
(If nothing else, I hope this post gave you a good laugh )

maybe 4x 125 t2 rails
MWD Webber or 7.5k scram
small armor rep/explosive hard/cap relay/magstab II?
Just pulled that out of my ass. ---------------------------

4 x t2 150mm rails (AM ammo)
1 x t2 MWD, 1 x Cap Rchr
2 x t2 mag stabs, 1 x t2 Armor rep, 1 x t2 explosive plating
With sharpshooter lvl 4 & assault ships lvl 4 you should get a optimal range of about 12km |

Other than the MWD, that looks about the same as what a lot of pilots post for ENYO.
How retarded would it be to put several nanofiber and/or overdrives in the bottom slots???

Edited by: Callistus on 06/02/2006 23:50:55 Well yes it would be a bit pointless; one of the strengths of assault frigates is their ability to tank very well for a ship their size. Sounds to me like you'd be much better off with an interceptor than an enyo.
Edit: and wide's setup doesn't fit. --------------

Edited by: SunWuKong on 06/02/2006 23:55:25 That's what I was afraid of. I had hoped it possible to maybe have a really tuff but not too much slower ceptor. I love the tanking of the AF, just disappointed at how much slower they are (than T1 frigs). Thanks for the posts!!

If you want to pvp in a gallente af i suggest getting rid of the enyo and going for a ishkur, they are great ships. My setup is:
2x 75mm II's 2x Nos
1x MWD 1x Web 1x Scram
1x Small Armor rep II 1x Explosive Hardner 1x Cap relay
2 medium drones 3 light drones
Was jumped by a stilleto and ares yesterday while i was in this and owned them both, didn't even get below 3/4 armor

I was jumped by an ares and a claw a few days ago, sadly I didn't have my drones in bay due to gang warp without bringing them back. They got me as I was jumping back to station to get them back in. :\

Damn, knew it was too good. Must have been 125mm's. Using the Spike ammo is probably necessary also if your turret's tracking speed is going to keep up with the MWD's speed.
A revised fit with the same intentions in mind:
4 x 125mm
1 x cap recharger 1 x MWD
1 x small armor rep 2 x magnetic stabs 2 x engergized reactive membrane
Quickfit stats:

Putting a MWD on an Enyo is a terrible idea :-\
Cruiser sized guns will start hitting you then... and all of a sudden that 6/10 complex with the multiple cruiser spawns isn't so easy to tank anymore. The speed/transversal velocity of an AF with a MWD on does not outweigh the sig radius increase imho.
Example - with a kinetic and a thermal hardener on it (yes, yes, overkill, I know) and a t2 ab running, I can easily tank deep 0.0 Shadow Serpentis spawns (i.e. 1m+ BS rats with cruisers helping out.) If I put an MWD on it, I'm absolutely sure I'd be toast...
Wanna fit an MWD? Go with a 'ceptor Yer ma's nags |

Edited by: Tribunal on 07/02/2006 01:36:18 If you're in a group then forget about railguns, go the route of blasters. Btw... just say no to using a MWD on an assault frigs.
2 x light ion blaster II 2 x light nuetron blaster II 1 x rocket launcher II
1 x 1mn afterburner II 1 x 7.5m 2 strength scrambler
1 x small armor rep II 2 x magnetic stabilizer II 1 x capacitor power relay
And before anyone ask "does that even fit", the answer is "yes".
Your goal is to get close to the target, and orbit with your AB on. You should be going at least 560 m/s, which means you will be a pain in the backside for anything larger then a frig to hit. Webs are your equalizers. This setup pumps out at 200+ DPS, which is quite nice for a frig.

Blasters on an AF meant to do damage, the horror of it all. If you're in a group then use blasters, and if your solo use railguns. If you're a wuss then use railguns 24/7.

I use a setup practically identical to Tribunal's for PVE, only with a webber instead of a scrambler. Works very well for me - sufficient defense, great damage output, no slots wasted on fitting support (e.g. MAPC).
