Just tried logging on and the launcher came up stating all is ok so I enter my details and then it goes to the next part and comes up with status "Incompatible build"
ive tried the repair tool and still getting same issue |

having the same issue, I logged in about an hour and 15 mins ago, no problems, it downloaded a patch and then I was good, however I just tried to log back in and it downloaded what appeared to be the same patch again, and then told me "incompatible build" |

Same problem, incompatible build error, no update when running the exe, launcher says client is ready and doesn't update. Tried starting the game through the launcher yet still get the same incompatible build problem without a patch. Have run the repair tool, no change. |

Same, was logged in and everything working fine. Logged out to swap toons and suddenly update then incompatible build. Repair didn't repair it.
Fireworks and snowballs are great, but what I really want is a corpse launcher. |

Same here.
Launcher did a very small patch job at around 1640ET and now throws an "Incompatible Build" error message.
Reproduced on both Windows and OSX clients.

Same problem, impossible to launch update in any form, even launcher doesn't launch update, and when before we had pop up window which show here is new build - now we don't have it.

Personally, I would rather have a way to manually apply the patch when the automatic system isn't working. Download patch from a server separate from the autopatch system when the kittens break free, import in the launcher and let it run.
Would be so much more convenient than just having to sit inactively and wait until things are fixed with the currently only way to update the client.. |

The following Solved the issue for me i'm able to log in and such now.
