Yes that tremendous day is arriving shortly  . So considering I'm working afew hundred miles away from my wife-to-be I was wondering whats everyone else buying for their partners/GF.
I myself am stumped.. really dont want to do the flower delivery thing AGAIN, and I dont want to miss it, to do that is more than my life is worth 
Please say someone has a good idea

my last GF that I was with around valentines day dumped me a day before valentines day.
so i gave it all the crap i had gotten for my EX to my friend to give to his GF, he was gratfull as he had forgoten completly.
I have sworn off the holiday, forget that, never gonna deal with that malarky again.

GF? is that an agent? what corp and level? is it R&D? didnt read anything about GF in the last patch notes.. hmmm giving agents gifts, sounds kinda a ***..

Lots of roses and candles for a romantic picnic, and she is getting a 100 or so page story (based on our lives, and the future) that I have spent absolutely fricking ages writing for her. She better like it :).

Dinner would be cool, but I've always found it a bit...well tacky going out on valentines, everywhere is so fake. Every restaurant overcharges and is packed with couples lined up trying to out-do each other by showing their love, not something I've been keen on doing. (personal opinion only).

My GF's b-day was on the second and I took her shopping. Trust me, a diamond might score massive points at once, but NOTHING scores more points than a day full of "No, sweety, it doesn't make your butt look big. You look beautiful!"s!!
So many points that all I have to do is show up on Valentine's Day!... plus... I'm too broke from taking her shopping to get her anything for Valentine's Day , but it all works out.

valentines day is so commercialised. Most of the presents people usually get are fairly pointless so I try to get small useful stuff (nothing expensive) but it far too ingrained that we must get something due to heavy in your face advertisement. Being the age of sexual equality she can pay this year for the meal :p
