I'm running atm some lvl3 agents from Caldari Navy. Surveillance, Security, Int. Sec, and command. Thanx God it seldom happens, but the curier mission they gives are absolutely nonsense. They always send me in low sec sys (intriguing!) always in 0.3 places full of escape pods destroyed (dangerous!) often with goods using more than 500mq of cargo (no inties). Rewards? 100k isks and 200 LP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best tactics? Spend a week with other agents make mission expire, move back to agent ask for work.
ATM in lvl3, the most dangerous mission is to transport goods in sys campered by PK. They have the most ridicolus reward of all missions.
Maybe CCP should update this missions, or remove them from kill-mission agents, cause this is silly!
Theese kind of mission could be very cool if the trick worth the time and risks it buys! But for the actual reward, they are just a boring pain!!

You can decline one mission every 4 hours without taking a standing hit. There is no need to wait for the mission to expire.

I decline only one mission with my fist choice agents in the last months, and it gave me a -0.2 penalty standing
Anyway, the point remain the same: this low sec, pod-killing zone transport mission are badly useless.

Ok posts like this **** me off, i did kill missions for a good long time to get my sec standing high enough for good R&D's (then a bit longer cause the isk was good). now i am doing manufacturing agent missions with my alt that cant fire anything bigger then a small gun and cant fly any combat ship bigger then a frig. she can however fly good industrials (gal indy 5) now i am getting a kill mission every 4-5 missions on average and having to decline it then doing 4-5 more curriors then waiting 4 hours to decline a kill mission.
Now what do you think is more fair here? you seldomly getting a currior mission that would requir you to train indy level 1.... or me getting a kill mission every 4-5 missions that would take a good long while of training for me to be even close to being able to do? i am only ****ed things are like this becaue waiting 4h sucks. but i am dealing with it. the fact that you are complaining cause you seldomly get a mission you are capable of doing is the real **** off.
sometimes you get ****ty ass missions DEAL WITH IT. sometimes a millitary or security force needs **** moved around... and who are they gona ask? you there little pitiful grunt, suck it up.

Aye but remember that missions just do a generic move x to y.
There is no way the mission generator knows which systems contain 20 blokes sitting around a campfire toasting marshmallows and drinking rum while having yarring contests.
You need to decline the mission without first accepting it. You will fail the mission if you do not complete it once accepted. It's the fail that gives you the insta standing hit.

If you don't want to decline missions you can either get someone in your corp to run the kill missions for you or maybe get some friends together. Simple eh?

You must have rejected after accepting it, then; there is no standing penalty for rejecting a mission once every four hours.
I do it on an almost daily basis.

I do decline my kill missions and i wait (i would get a freind to help, or my main but we are at war and its not so great to bring my main for missions). sorry for my language they bleeded alot of words i found not to be that strong. Just bugs me to see someone complaining about something i am dealing with (inversed). was having a ****ty morning and let loose on the forums sorry for being rude. but i stand bye most of my comments, its not really that hard for you to do those missions, do you really want to do the same thing over and over again?

On the left side of the website. EVE Insider > Forums > Settings
To the OP. As already stated, you can decline a mission BEFORE you accept it. Check all your missions out before you accept to make sure it's what you are looking for. If it's not, decline it and make sure you make a note of the time in your Notepad. After 4 hours you are safe to decline another one. If you get another mission you can't complete before the 4 hours is up, DON'T accept it. Just do something else until the timer has run out. - - - This signature is immune to mod modifications! You can decline one mission in 4h per agent before accepting it.
Failing or rejecting a missions once you accepted it leads to severe agent standing loss.
Letting mission offers run out 'can' result in standing loss towards the agent.
Look around for agents further away from known Gank systems (Aunenen, Egghelende, Rancer, ...). They're available but you might have to move out of the lag, err hub systems.
Why not do missions for another of the dozen or so military Caldari corps when you're set on combat missions? All Caldari agents offer the faction ships. Even those from peacefull corps. --*=*=*-- Megadon CCP wanted a well known artist and celebrity to test the new font so it's approval would be well known. They got Ray |

Ok tnx all for the infos. So i just have to ask for work, and then rejecting before tell the agent "i accept".
Mine was not intended to be a complaint. I'll be happy to make all curier missions when happens, even in deep 0.0. I just wander why reward was so low for such dangerous tasks. Something that could be fun and challenging, and for the right reward.
