I just don't get why poetry isn't more popular?! It's time for a revival - you know it and I know it. The revival starts here folks, Poetry for the modern people is reborn in Out Of Pod. Remember men - ladies love poetry, so there is just enough time for you to get practice in before valentines day. I'll kick off ...
My melting Heart a poem by Clone 9
Roaring oven with fan so mighty
From whence the malty loaf of goodness was borne
The heat engulfs the kitchen as I gently tug open your door
And reminds me of a Belgian summers day
With rugged hands I tear the loaf and dip it in some gravy
That which you create
I destroy and consume with Pie and Mash
The irony of our inverse needs sustains our relationship across the human / appliance divide
The End
